  1. depending on the cars mods a flat 12 can be hard to get, but some will SMASH MY DATE hard in to make the car feel stronger and this smashing of the boost may help it get a little more in the top end but it is because it is falling over from a higher level. one of my customers ran 11.6 with 302 rwkw in complete street trim a few years back. Not all the small turbo cars will make 320-330 rwkw some are maxed out at 315
  2. the small turbo will never hold boost in the top end on these engines, it's just too small
  3. check your fuel pressure first with both it connected and disconnected, it should be 4 bar delta pressure, if it is higher without the pump controller adjusting the voltage but is correct with it controlling the voltage then you need to get the tune adjusted to suit the correct pressure
  4. if your fuel pressure has dropped because it was high before then yes the tune will need to adjusted
  5. sounds like a torque management issue but way too many things it can be to make a decision based on the description
  6. A K&N can be cleaned over and over for just the cost of a cleaning kit, sp long term it would be cheaper to get a K&N
  7. stock ford filter supplied with the car when new
  8. unfortunately many shops are really just "Toe and go" style wheel alignments, not saying this is your case
  9. there is some adjustment room available for the shims with the stock setup but as things wear, get bent or even modified by lowering then this adjustment quite quickly runs out and it varies from car to car
  10. thanks for the write up mate, all is not perfect though, it appears I have forgotten to load the extra tunes into the flashbox, will contact you next week if that's ok
  11. you need to clear the abs codes from the front wheels
  12. injectors themselves will not give you any more power unless the previous injectors where limiting the power, 42 lb injectors should see 300 rwkw on a 6 cyl easily if the fuel system is delivering enough. why not get it to idle at 600 rpm or even 550?
  13. so is it only there in manual mode or it shows while in auto mode?
  14. he bragged about there was not 1 sign of ping/knock at all, without taking it to the knock threshold, you have no idea about how close you are to it, whether 1 or 5 degrees away from it
  15. lol very true, and most always say that their tuners dyno reads low, why the F would you want a dyno if you knew it was not anywhere near accurate
  16. Name: Mick Car: FG G6ET Trans: 6 speed auto Power: 320rwkw Boost: 12 Induction: V8 Air box, PWR intercooler, Herrod piping Turbo: Stock with port and 8 psi actuator Valve Springs: Stock Exhaust: Nizpro Fuel system: 1000cc injectors, stock fuel pump
  17. no worries mate, feel free to call the shop during the week and one of us can go through your options based on what you want to achieve with your budget, but we only have a few weeks left in this year that we will be tuning due to expecting a baby
  18. we look after all our customers with quality service and results, if your decisions are purely based on price you may be better off finding somebody who will do a budget job
  19. BA's had weak springs in them when they were new, now that they are older they are a lot worse, we have seen some that valve float above 230 rwkw, you are also going to need more than injectors and a tune to see 300 rwkw, there can be a lot of different ways to get to that number, many are good and many are not that great
