  2. for some reason I can not post links at the moment, as far as the repair it depends on how mechanical you are, there are some people that may be able to do it at home while there are some that would end up destroying their engine
  3. it's a common issue we see on these motors, I don't mean it happens to every second car but we have seen it over possibly 15 or more times. Rocker cover needs to be taken off to confirm though, do not just take my word for it as it's just a guess based on what we have seen in the past. you might want to read a thread titled "FG Dropped a Valve"
  4. sounds like your cam timing has possibly jumped
  5. it depends on what sort of injectors and how good your tuner is with them, Bels G6ET is now running 1250 cc injectors and idles at 550 rpm

    end result is pretty much determined by how much time or knowledge the person pushing the buttons has or applies to it, but HP does not cover as much as SCT and it may not have any affect until the car does not behave as intended, that can then be where the difference comes into it, but saying that, I see many people that are happy to accept an average tune based on a dyno number or 1/4 time
  10. The nut is ground away to correct any imbalance from the balanced components, even turning this nut slightly will affect the overall balance on the existing components let alone a different wheel
  11. way too many possibilities to give any sort of accurate answer, but could be anything from incorrect strategy code, mechanical issue/not compatible or just tune does not suit the car
  12. you wanted cheap, looks like you got cheap, flash it back to stock until you have the money to do it properly otherwise it may end up costing you a lot more
  13. even the locating nut sitting in a different position can affect the balance

  15. you can not accurately get that from the dyno sheet, it the runs are done at different starting points and different ramp rates
  16. You're wrong about the coolers on 50k race engines try almost doubling it
  17. Trying not to be harsh but this is bullsh*t! if a part has a problem, it needs to be sorted out, but to bag a product with no proof is crap, actually it's probably slander. People need to be accountable for what they post, if Towsw001 names the shop or person that told him, then the blame can be moved to that person, but posting and then not passing on the details, then the blame lies with him.
  18. assuming it is in good mechanical condition, Valve springs, injectors, fuel pump, intercooler, cat or exhaust, wategate port and actuator if auto, typhoon snorkel if not replacing air box and custom tune
  19. you should mention what power level you are after and what budget
  20. although they normally do, not all stock turbos will make 400 rwkw
  21. as the PWR is only a fairly new item, I would think any owner would have gone back to PWR re this and we would have heard more about this, I also know that many people are quick to cast doubt about products they do not fit
  22. have you tried restarting it and see if the problem is still there?
