  1. an electronic controller will not cover any mechanical issues, the factory controller works perfectly when the correct rated actuator is used
  2. am not aware of any bolt in options, that set up would not have much adjustment range for IC which is what is the main affect in getting a four link to work
  3. either does a 2 or 3 speed trans with big convertor but people do it all the time if someone was going to go to that much trouble why not get a proper 4 link that is totally adjustable
  4. not saying it's better, but the mono leaf and caltracs have proven to work very good on the drag strip
  5. 350 is what the manufacturers were saying, we have seen a little more buy things start to work harder

Brutz, that's one reason why prices can vary on a trans rebuild, some shops repair the issue and call it a rebuild, while another will replace all clutches, bands (if applicable) seals, gaskets, white metal bearings, roller bearings, split and clean the convertor etc and update any known common issues, and some shops will be in between
  7. PWR step is different than the P/West step

very cheap if it's a full reco with convertor flush etc
  9. yes, we have a group buy for some process west FG products at the moment
  10. Process west a few years ago tried to organize a test between a few coolers, the other people did not want to take part in it. Any test should be done by a third party that will not been seen as being biased.
  11. Karl if you are as smart as you try to portray, you would know that pulling the intercooler out and fitting a piece of pipe there would result in a pressure drop, not really hard to figure out is it? Some coolers have less pressure drop across them but do not cool as well as another type of cooler, that's fact. I believe lots of test results on various products, but when they are tested correctly, fairly and have data to back it up. Remember a thought without data is just an opinion! I'm not saying his coolers are no good, I'm just saying there is a few saying how good they are but with the data. They may be the best thing ever! Time will tell And why would I buy a cooler and spend my time testing it for somebody else? I'm happy to be paid to test one, maybe Karls family's dyno shop could do it if they have enough gear to do it. Bizkets, thanks for the info appreciate it,
  12. It would be interesting to see actual test results to see if they are as good as he says, not just hearsay, If we believe everything every manufacturer claims....... well we would be a bit silly
  13. I've seen no tests showing there is a better cooler than the stage P/west, and the cooler kit comes with piping and throttle body elbow
  14. Kazz is not a very nice diff for street duties
  15. if the air bag wiring to any sensor or airbag was damaged so as to cause the system not to operate, there would be codes and warning light associated with it
  16. there are 3 common sizes with modern injectors, the BA uses the long one, the FG uses the mid size one, but it is possible to use a different size to standard if the right adaptor is used or right mods done to make it work
  17. I'd say sh*tty engine or sh*tty set up, but we are all just guessing
  18. a new gear set is probably going to add another $700-$800 and can still be set up incorrectly
  19. many people blame a new diff centre (lsd centre) for a whine at speed, the lsd centre can not make any noises while traveling in a straight line at any speed, it can be from a worn gear set and incorrectly set up gear set
