  2. Veva, jog my memory, is yours B or F series? Cutting is not as major on B series as rad panels supports are different
  3. talk to an engineer before cutting anything if that is the way you want to go because what needs to be cut will affect front impact crush zones and affect air bag employment.

  6. surging, running rough, flat acceleration normally only last a very short time though, most of it can be tuned out

  11. FG's have issues when cold and they exist when stock, sometimes show up worse when modded, they can be pretty much tuned out of them
  12. changing cams takes away some the nice manners and most people seem to want the nice manners, well until the foot is planted
  13. do what ever you need to do to get over your current problem, if that means putting the car to the side, do it, if it means late nights in the garage to keep your mind busy then do that, but I'm sure your partner needs your support at this time so make that a priority
  14. as you know the trade off with the slower shutter speed can be some sharpness, but the motion blur is what make the pic, it portrays the speed, trying to get the trade off is hard work but very rewarding when it's done well

  17. RBT cops are there to check for drink/drug drivers, not normally interested in checking over cars for defects unless the car is a known car or very obvious
  18. yes, you need to skip the tcm as instructed and correct trying to reflash the zf in a short time period causes crashes
  19. you didn't skip the TCM when flashing did you? that's what can cause flash failures and one reason why it can take so long to tune the zf
  20. I have several cars with them on and they are sh*t at around 300 rwkw
  21. don't think it will be wise to base fuel economy off the first few tanks, have a feeling you might be feeling the extra boost for a little while
  22. what boost does a stock BA/F run? 4.5-6 psi how is the 7lb actuator going to control that?
  23. at what lambda?
  24. do you realise you will need another tune with a different rating wastegate
  25. if you can't afford to do things right, you probably don't have the funds to be able to fix it, I would go back to standard until a time comes that you can do it correctly
