  1. Most people will think "Bolt on" means it can just go straight on with no other mods, but they all need mods to get them to fit, even when they do actually "bolt on" to the manifold
  2. sounds like it is bricked now, hopefully the deal was cheap enough to cover the loss
  3. updating the firmware without returning a car to stock may stop it from recognising the original car, so even if the previous owner was willing to return the car to stock, there is a strong chance it may not do it
  4. How long did work good for? What tuning software was used? Was boost control turned off in the tune?
  5. You need to see if it says unmarried
  6. The last one we did went a head with very little problems and only a couple of people not coming good but getting a deposit weeded these people out. These group buys can take up a lot of time and some manufacturers do not have the time to go it, pretty sure anyone that got inboard either of the last 2 we organized will agree that they worked well
  7. without checking my times guide info, it looks close to the 15hr mark but would be recommending a 4 wheel alignment rather than just a front wheel alignment based on his price quoted, the other option is paying another $150-!180 for an inspection from another shop and maybe having a smaller list or exactly the same items. We can organise a rwc inspection if you needed a second opinion
  8. not even going to speculate on pricing or whether Kev would do another group buy but the last one we organised turned out very successful because the prices were very good and we sold over 20 maybe even 25
  9. I have done this in the past, can check it out again if there is enough interest
  10. separation is the opposite of squat, the back of the car lifts but what it's actually trying to do is plant the tyres harder into the ground so the body starts to separate on the suspension, this is what properly set up cars with ladder bars or 4 links will do and can be done with leaf springs by using something like Caltracs and the correct spring and shock. this separation is seen from the wheel arch not from the rear bumper, because even with separation, if the front lifts with the weight transfer the rear bumper will appear to squat.
  11. totally agree Pat, my post was more so to change a few opinions as most people now think squat is good but not realising it's actually trying to unload the rear tyre where separation is actually planting the rear tyre harder, I see guys with utes trying to get squat when they should be aiming for separation because they can actually get it
  12. just to be a technical and go against the general consensus, you don't want squat drag racing, you want separation, bit hard to achieve though in the sedan with it's irs without major changes
  13. many/most cars these days have fuel systems that are capable of handling E10 fuels
  14. pretty much what I said?
  15. yep, around 300 but if you listen to some that have them they think they are great because they have heap of boost pushed into them and get a higher number than that
  16. the ute systems are sedan systems have to be modified to fit, they do not make a ute system, the noise valve is not included in the pricing
  17. how do you know when it has reached it's limit?
  18. yep
  19. other suppliers have had issues with E85 fuel systems, it just seems that one company is coping all the flak, even Gates E85 compatible hoses had issues with our E85 and they had to change their formula of the rubber
  20. Bosch's motorsport catalogue list 500 hrs for an 044 on E85
  21. Lol, I've lured Jmac into my trap Seriously though, he has a good mechanic at present but if you ever need a change we are more than happy to help out
  22. we haven't pushed the sale that hard, only the one add and we did start with a high dollar value, as you do
  23. if your going to do something do it properly or not at all
  24. here is the sale add http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ford-Falcon-2003/SSE-AD-2574717
