  1. Had a Mk2 last week with plastic tank cooler on it and it would not make 280 without pinging, but already had injectors and a cat done on it, IAT were very high
  2. Have seen many that have cracked, but it happens on their new ones so is not confined to just second hand
  3. I can see what I can do if you like
  4. I would like to see what power the OP would make with as cooler if his number is genuine
  5. did I mention I have a group buy happening for P/west cooler kits?
  6. I should add that the Process West intercooler group buy I running at the moment gives the choice of polished or black coolers
  7. so based on the answer to my question, then the mightycar mods comparison was not conducted 100% correct
  8. but if you are stationary and the fans are not activated the hot air from the radiator will be emitted forwards as well
  9. So sitting stationary it would be absorbing more heat from the radiator and air con?
  10. Does black heat soak more when stationary?
  11. Probably because some work better than others
  12. Cars no mater what fuel can be run leaner than stoich as long as the spark maps and ignition system are set up to suit
  13. possibly turbo port issue or tune but could be a combination of both.
  14. What do I think? Are you really going to believe what a person trying to sell them to you is going to say? This is the first car that we have actually fitted a set to, but have driven other customers cars that have had them fitted, but not back to back. With the work we have done to Rabands car, I have driven it a few times and drove it again this morning before pulling it apart to change them so got the chance to feel back to back. The shocks are set to the softest setting and the height was left to what Shockworks recommend, did it feel different? yes it did. Bumps can still be felt, as you would expect, but the cars body does not seem to react to the bumps like it normally would and the car had none of the wallowing feel that they normally have. The rear of the car feels more planted when rocking the steering from side to side quickly and the steering actually feels more responsive possibly due to having a linear rate spring rather than a progressive wound spring which would have more body movement during the short part of the soft part of the spring. Ride comfort is something different for everybody, some live with some ridiculous suspension mods, some are very fussy. If you are a person that thinks a "slammed on the ground" and hardest setting possible gives the best ride, then these are possibly not for you as you will be wasting the tech and experience that has gone into them, if you want a good handling car with the least amount of trade off for comfort, then these may suit you. (in the short drive that I did, I could not see any trade off at all)
  15. R.I.P
  16. I can tell you that we are now agents/distributors for Shockworks products, Brett came down today, like what he saw and how we operated so had no problems with bringing us on board
  17. feels nicer to drive too
  18. intercooler gives power gains and AFR is not the concern with IAT's
  19. it fits and you will have no problems with it
  20. Processwest or Plazmaman
  21. I remember when 300 made you king of the hill
  22. lol, trying to do too many things at once
  23. considering when I ran 11's there was only a few 10 sec turbo's, it was not too bad
