    A tuner can not load tunes into the flash box 'F' position at all or override the tune that is in that spot. they could load a factory stock tune back into the car, but would involve another blank tuner box which would then be locked to that car, you would end up with 2 boxes and one would be left useless and the good one would have a performance tune as the F spot. Your story almost sounds like someone has bought a 2nd hand box without it flashing the car back to stock, if that's the case the tuner is worthless

    Yes but based on standard cars, and complete with low boost, less than ideal timing and very rich air fuel ratio's. The more power you get , the more the risk factor increases if things arn't correct for your car

    I don't understand why some people will spend up to $60000 on a car, then spend thousands of more $ on mods, wheels, stereos, lowering etc and then only fork out for just a generic tune which may end up doing damage to the motor, why not spend the extra $600-$900 getting it custom tuned, that way you know it is safe and makes the best power

  18. A lot of it will depend on whether he sets his car up as a drag racer with 90/10 big convertor and traction aids at the rear, he could be lifting the front wheels every run and running great times, if he does, you may need more than just power to beat him

It's illegal whether it's worn out or been tampered with, owners responsability, end of story If it dies of natural causes, the residue fragments would be normally be caught in the rest of the exhaust system and be obvious, and would probably partially block the mufflers, hindering performance

    Tuned a mid mounted twin turbo XR8 a few weeks back, it had a high stall and 4.1 gears, made 356 rwkw @8 psi, it was a lot different to XR6 t's of similar power levels I have driven, don't think the tyres are going to last too long

  24. Although I agree a bigger exhaust is better, the standard one will handle over 300 rwkws Your exhaust shop is a bit wrong though, twin 2.5 is now where near the same area as a 5 " system, it is bigger than a single 3" but a single 3.5" would flow more than ythe twin 2.5"
  25. I've run 300+ with total stock exhaust and cooler set up, but will be changing exhaust and cooler to make it easier for the turbo to do it
