  1. Unless he has tuned your car before, it is not a retune, it is a full tune
  2. Don't just assume! Ford says what is and is not covered by the warranty, not the dealer, ford will not warrant any problems caused by a non genuine accessory no matter who fitted it. If you have concerns talk to the dealership, not sales, but the service department and ask them directly about warranty caused by the towing loads you have mentioned.
  3. Are you confident in your ability to make adjustments to your tune, do you want to data log your car, if you answered yes, it's probably worth the extra dollers to you.
  4. unless you request genuine ford towbar, most dealers will just use a towbar fitting business to do their towbars, although some of the heavy duty bars are exactly the same haymen reese bar, they are not genuine
  5. get a pursuit rear bar and you can have no hole
  6. Doing damage can be bit of a set back but it sure is impressive to know you have the power to do it I've seen it done once, but the driver got off it befor it actually broke in half, it had a big enough bend in it to be hitting other under car components.
  7. great times, I think these days a lot of people don't realise how quick this is
  8. Congratulations Danny, excelent result, hope the weather holds out for you on friday and good luck if you do get a run.
  9. See Paul at Elite, he will do the right thing by you and your car.
  10. The above answers are correct, auto in neutral will rev to 3000 unless it's been changed via the edit
  11. unless you get a surge at cruise speeds, leave them
  12. Although it's a Expensive Daewoo and it's a hell of a lot of money, providing the owners look after their cars, in a few years it may be worth over $200k, any 6T with a heap of money spent on it will only be worth 10-20 K
  13. That's the one mate. If I remember corretly, The only factory option for it was engine bluprinting which nudges it over the $100k mark
  14. Expensive Daewoo had a $100 k Late model camira for retail sale back in 95-96

You have a problem, you don't know what it is, it happens with the 10 lb generic tune in it, you've been told that it possibly might be a torque management problem, but you think you don't need a tune These cars are pretty complex and tuning is not just about not pinging, there are lots of other things involved in tuning them. Good luck in getting it sorted and dn't forget to report back to what fixed it
  17. 400 rwkw on a tight budget is a recipe for disaster
  18. Manuals do suffer also but not as much as auto's. If yours is doing with the stock tune, you have a problem elsewhere, you need your tuner or mechanic to scan it out and check it over for you.
  19. Correct, but a high flow 3" muffler may still be better than the standard set up, although size wise it is down slightly
  20. Which is why he has happy customers
  21. Not disagreeing what your tuner has done as there have probably been lots of ways to get around things. Justin has done the Nizpro course so he knows what is going on with them. Most early BA's have had their ecu processors updated by ford during their service or warranty visits, sometimes the owners arn't aware Most BA Autos are now running around with code A3HD which is a problem code, as said there are ways around it and too be honest different tuners probably have their own ways around it, some may even use an older code. The main thing is yours got sorted out for you.
  22. No late model. Early ones had boost control issues which ford fixed, but then added extra torque management control in the later ones.
  23. Your problem is fairly common with some of the late model processor codes. It was discussed in depth at the last 2 Nizpro training seminars.
