    I believe it is so there is no drain on the battery, never done it and never had a problem

    Did you get the flash 2? if so put it back on the dyno and have a play with timing, but be very careful how you go about it.

    Was the car actually making 10 psi? These cars all respond differntly to each other based on mods, condition of parts etc, which is why Custom tuningis the best way to play with these cars. Although you may have put the 10 psi tune in, your car may have only been getting 8 for example in the top end. You have to also realise that power does not just come from boost alone, you have to optimize the air fuel ratio and more importanly the timing. The timing is where the power comes from, 1 degree can add more than 5 rwkw if done correctly, but can also damage things if too much is used.

  10. We will shortly be going through their Liquid injection training so in the near future will be able to offer this system as well as custom tuning for the Liquid gas
  11. The kit I tuned was done by APS in frankston, not the other APS, although they were also doing a low mount kit, but I don't beleive it went ahaed. The HPF also did a front mount twin turbo for the boss, but have not heard anything of that for a while. There are 4 major supercharger options now for the boss and then a couple from capa as well.
  12. I tuned a Twin turbo'd BA XR8 with mid mounted turbo's, a while back, 4000 histall, 4.1 diff gears and it made 365 rwkw @ 8 psi and that was starting with a 260 motor, was impressive to drive
  13. excelent choice of car (from another pursuit owner ) The boss is not as bad as a lot of people think they are, a few of us have run some good numbers in them. You have quite a few boost options with them now
  14. At the momment there is only a handful of cars in total that have been converted as it is new technology in australia, and kits have been delayed due to stock deliveries. Most fitters have close to 3-6 month waiting list to be able to do any conversion
  15. Yes you can and you have some inetersting options
  16. The technology is till very very new and wthe kits will only be available to the installers that have sat the training course, the list will be getting bigger and bigger all the time and will spread interstate shortly
  17. Why don't you consider Liquid injection, you will get more power than petrol and only use approx 5% more gas than petrol as opposed to vapour injection which should match petrol's power but use approx 20% more gas than petrol.?
  18. This is a system that we use. It is not a preventative maintenace item like the ones that get done every service, it is a service that is recommended to be done approx 80,000 klms and actually provides great results. We have fixed injector miss fires by using this system and even solved fuel pressure regulator problems using it.

  20. No that is not right. It has to go to a tuner to be unlocked, after he has returned the car to stock. He can not put the tunes back in the box unless he has the advantage software. as mentioned, any tunes in the box will be useless after it is unlocked. Even if it could be done, his custom tune would only be a generic tune in your car.
