  1. You would expect that, but it also depends on what grade of stainless it is and whether the internal baffles of the mufflers are stainless or not, some stainless mufflers are only stainless externally
  2. Sorry to hear the job news Danny, but it looks like it may be leading to better things Good luck

    Sct Livelink

It doesn't show actual afr, you need a wide band logger
  4. we will be offereing the liquid gas injection set up for T's some time into the new year, I have already sat the liquid installers course just need to get some of the Gas licenceing things out of the way. We have already worked in conjunction with ALPWH to get 350 rwkw on gas from worms car
  5. We can supply them, but they are not the matched sets like Chris was doing
  6. You have to remember that exhaust systems are a serviceable item, they wear out, they rust out from inside, unless you cut one open you have no idea how good it is
  7. 2.6!!!! jesus........... my old work ute did better than that
  8. Congrats worm I'm wrapt for you what was your 60 ft?
  9. The car is not having full power dyno runs all the time, the gas has been set up under normal driving conditions first, then when that was correct they start to do power runs, as soon as it shows it was not supplying enough fuel the run would be aborted
  10. I think they were agreeing with you
  11. both injectors are designed to work with our multivalve heads. Personally my own experience for the long test, Ihave only used the seimens in my wifes T, so are probably not qualified enough to report on differences between using the different injectors. Results should not be based on just 1 tank of fuel either, so you probably need opinions from owners that have had the different injectors for some time and get their opinions No I have not seen Kenny
  12. Slight correction....... there is no codes, of the codes that it is capable of reading
  13. The car runs in closed loop while at idle, cruise and light throttle applications so in theory everything should be the same. I'm not going to get into a discussion about different brands of products being better than others as opinions are like a##holes, everyone has one. I have fitted or tuned lots of turbos using a common type of injector and different cars appear to have different idle qualities no matter what is altered in the tune, I'm not against using this common type injector as they are good value for money, in fact my wifes car runs the common injector. I'm glad worn is now even happier with his car, but the aim of replacing the injector was purely for the liquid gas compatability, nothing to do with how the car ran or performed
  14. Worms car was not retuned, the existing tune was altered to suit the new injectors and a slight change was made to the midrange fuel curve to level it out a bit and some boost pulled out at 3000 rpm. The power difference is probably from more favourable conditions the car was run in, ie not as much heat soak through the engine etc like when it had when it was originally tuned. With worms car and the gas situation it was cirtical to get the petrol long term and short term fuel trims 100% accurate as possible as, the gas injectors follow the same signal, both sets of petrol injectors were calibrated to get fuel trims close to zero as possible and the acheived fuel curve as commanded.
  15. The injectors are probably not contributing to the extra power, but possibly just more ideal conditions for the car to make power, ie, the car only had a couple of dyno pulls today rather than lots when the car was tuned, but glad your happy anyway
  16. Ouch!!!! No it came standard I assumed they all had it a first until I' read some posts about it
  17. We have a flash boxes in stock that I can do for $460, but are located in SE Subrubs
  18. Using a standard plate that is now strengthened around the mounting boss, I beleive the factory plate is weak enough that the holes actually elongate first and then the rocking back and forwards unscrews the bolts
  19. Ok technically nothing is broken, the drive plate bolts have worked their way loose, and have elongated the mounting holes. We have a new and strengthened drive plate ready to go in and waiting on some new ARP bolts to secure it and back together it will go.
  20. with the system as it is, it is not possible to use the factory gauge for LPG
  21. Most Vapour injection kits use approx 15-20% more gas than petrol. Most good vapour injection kits may match the same power levels as petrol. Depening on which Vapour injection kits is used will depend on how good the ecu is and then there's the case of how good a tune the instaler has fitted to it. Liquid injection normally uses between 3-10 % more gas then petrol Liquid injection will normally out power petrol on most cars Liquid injection does not need another ecu to operate, it uses the factory ecu. Liquid injection has cooler combustion temperatures which will eliminate the normal valve seat recession issues relating to other forms of LPG There are tens of thousands of vehicles in the states using liquid LPG injection There are 100's of thousands of cars using it in europe. Roush use it in the states for theier F-150's Subaru use it in europe for their Bi-fuel cars as original equipment The Italian Forest Rangers use it on their cars You decide which you think is better. Liquid injection technology is new to Australia, but has been used for approx 5 years in Europe Some gas fitters will tell stories about products based on what they sell, remember this when shopping
