NO harm in flashing as many times as you like. No you not need to back to the stock tune and then adjust it, just make the adjustments and flash in the new settings
The car only makes approx 10 psi in the top end which is not uncommon for pretty much stock cars, some cars will only make 9 psi. an actuator would get the boost up enough to get 300 rwkw's, but I beleive that this was only stage 1 in the scheme of things
although it's not an XR8, this is my Pursuit compared to the wifes XR6T, when both were stock and both are autos now both are modded, the T goes a little higher up the chart than the 8, but stock some 8's will keep up with or even beat some T's
check with the rule makers, a lot of drag stuff is directlty copied from the states and will aloow DOT approved tyres, so they may be legal for road use, but they may be legal for racing.
in the states they are legal because they have a DOT rating, but we fail to recognise that rating and because they have either no ,load or speed rating we do not accept them as being legal.
the few I have used, do a device memory config after selecting the tune and then the key on/off/on. maybe possibly they have sold you one that is not configured for our aussie cars??? does the unit have AU after the model number?
the first time you plug it in it will take a few minutes to copy the factory tune and then every time after, it will take about 4 minutes to load a tune on a BA
Stupid question maybe, but are you pressing select after turning the key on? The key must be turned on then select pressed, it then ask you to turn key off and press select and then turn the key on again
Normally only the injectors is what is required, what injectors are you talking about? The siemens 60 lb or Bosch 42 lb injectors go straight in with no adapting of any item (except tune )
