  1. putting that exhaust on the car with a 15 psi actuator is going to cause the turbo to overboost unless the wastegate has been ported etc.
  2. See Paul at Elite
  3. I'm not a moderator, but it may have been something to do with you being a business and advertising your product. Do you have any dyno sheets etc showing pressure drop or intake temps vs boost on these cars?
  4. sorry to hear the news, wouldn't you love to catch these low lifes in the act
  5. Rapids coolers are great value for the money and work very well,
  6. it will still need a tune because of the hiflow cat
  7. You can use the capa box, all the adjustments needed are in the software
  8. is it a standard cat or a hiflow cat? A hiflow you are going to need to flash tune the car, but also fit the o2 sensor. The tune will stop the cat test being performed, but the ecu will still pick up there is no 2nd o2, so you will need to fit it even though it will not be used. If standard cat, you should just need to fit the 2nd o2.
  9. P1000 is a code relating to the ECU not reading enough data due to lack of distance, to assess the system. P1000 is not normally a problem code as such. It is normally set after a disconnected battery, reflashing the ECU or even just doing a reset on the ECU
  10. Have not heard of any complaints as such, but a lot can depend on installers. stiffening suspension can make the car flex more which can lead to noise
  11. Without knowing the guy, I think the suspension guy was trying to explain, that with the teins, when you lower them you will be loosing suspension travel in the strut unit as you are effectively lowering the spring mount to get a shorter strut assembly, with the pedders you are actually raising the lower mounting point to shorten the strut and ride height, so you do not loos any suspension travel from the strut assembly
  12. Stef, Danny is correct, most forms of software and fuel systems are based on a pressure Delta, which is basically the pressure difference acting on both sides of the injector. Even NA cars have a vacuum signal going to the fuel pressure regulator to adjust the pressure based on how much vacuum is in the motor. Under normal driving there is a vacuum in the manifold which requires less pressure in the fuel rail to get the correct amount of fuel out of it, at full throttle there is no vacuum in the manifold, so if the fuel pressure was to remain the same, less fuel would be delivered due to the pressure delta. So the vacuum signal is delivered to the regulator to keep this pressure delta constant so an even amount of fuel is being delivered as per the cars ECU programme.
  13. Your car, if standard is tuned to run on a minimum of 95 octane, but even standard it may have some knock retatrd happeing on this fuel, so if it is, your car will benefit from using a higher octane fuel. Using a higher octane fuel will eliminate or slow down some of the knock retatrd from happening, so the car will pick up some power. E85 does have a higher octane than 95 and even 98 fuels, but if standard, your car will not benefit using it over 98 as the 98 should pretty much stop all knock retatrd. Also the calorific value of E85 is less then PULP, so you will use a lot more fuel to do the same distance If tuning the car and using E85 you should pick up a little more power over other fuels because of the extra timing you can run, but this comes at a cost of having to use larger injectors and possibly larger fuel pump than you would need using PULP.
  14. good to see you got to get them running correctly
  15. well done on the win
  16. You trusted CV to tune your car, why not trust them to service it as well they will most likely do a better job than a dealership
  17. Danny The 80 lb figures have been rereleased and are different to your original figures, may be give them a try after modifiyng them for our fuel pressure
  18. Danny The 80 lb figures have been rereleased and are different to your original figures, may be give them a try after modifiyng them for our fuel pressure
  19. Sorry to say, but they are a serviceable item and warranty will not cover them
  20. Bendix have a good range of pad materials at the momment, for a car seeing just normal street duty the CT would be recommended, the ultimates are there most serious pad, but can suffer from lack of stopping power when not up to temp, in the middle they have a heavy duty pad which is good compromise between the other 2.
  21. Too late to worry about it now, just remember it for the next car
  22. unless you have liquid gas injection. These systems will out perform petrol on the same tune, no other gas system can
  23. did you fit the exact same size tyres?

    Heat Soak?

The moisture content in the air takes away from the oxygen content of the air, less bang
  25. Sorry mate just getting picky , to fit a cam makes it opened
