  1. Don't get me wrong, I just think I needed to clear it up for any body out there that may have thought they would get a better tune based on what software their tuner uses. I was talking to Chris, Mario and Greg only a few weeks back, plus some of there beta testers that use both forms of software, although they have a lot of the processor codes now available for BA and BF there is certain important parameters not available at present but they are working all the time to clear it up.
  2. your post can be misleading Erko. The quality of the tune is directly related to the person pushing the buttons rather than which brand of software is used, assuming both brands of software have all the paremeters vailable that need to be adjusted. HP tuners are working on their software all the time to match the parameters that SCT have available at the momment. 3 weeks ago they were still missing some vital parameters that are needed on some of these cars. When the software is complete, a car will not make more power or drive better because it uses a particular brand of software. No matter which software is used, they all just tools to manipulate the parameters ford has put in the ecu. :headbang2:
  3. The pipes may not make a big difference, but they may have made enough to trigger another problem
  4. I've sent the pm back, but if it was making 12 psi before, with the new cooler etc it may be making quite a bit more, which could be contributing to your problem, reading your description here makes me think you may be experiencing some torque managment issues. As mentioned before, generic tunes can be a bit hit or miss on a standard car and a lot worse on a modded car, you really need to go over the basics, like plugs, coils etc, but you should be getting it custom tuned
  5. They will not work with our processor codes
  6. Spoke to Nizpro about the reports of springs going soft 2 weeks ago as I only want to supply quality poducts to my customers, they have sold thousands of springs and have had 1 report of springs being bad, which the owner then had another set supplied. Have the people with the problem ones, spoken to nizpro?
  7. unless you are chasing very high power levels or running E85 with heaps of boost, these will be overkill and you would be better off running an injector that is based on the power levels you wish to achieve
  8. Thanks again guys

    Sct F3 #3000

The american version will not accept our tune codes
  10. thanks for that
  11. Thanks mate It's actually for possibly a dyno room, want to keep as much noise from escaping, but also dampen as much noise as possible inside.
  12. I'm looking at building some sort of sound proofing wall and would like advice on what product etc, and where it would be available from. I'm looking at a complete enclosed room but then having internal walls and roof that use a 30% open material to allow the noise to enter the cavity between the internal and external walls, but need some sort of material to absorb or deaden then noise. Have heard of rockwall or rockwool insulation but can not find too much info on exactly what is required. any help or links appreciated
  13. Pm auscraft and ask him about his original performance exhaust and the drama's he went through trying to get it replaced or check this thread Click here
  14. I have seen 330 rwkw + out of both systems, but have not done back to back tests on them.
  15. The exhaust you choose will have a huge affect on how much power your car will make and at what boost it does it at. A good exhaust and cooler set up, fitted with a stronger actuator will cause the car to overboost and will not be able to be controlled unless the turbo is ported. I have fitted actuators without removing the turbo and then had to remove the turbo to port it because some people do not believe what they ahave been advised, they end up paying 2 lots of labour and loose the car for an extra day. As a tuner, I offer the best advice I can based on what I have seen.
  16. Congrats on the purchase
  17. Your tuner may have adjusted the fans thinking you have a low temp thermostat installed, would be a good idea to check with them.
  18. Thanks mate, I have an exhaust shop that does some of these mods if required.
  19. The bigger the body the less restriction you should have, but also less ground clearance. I hope you are aware you will need a tune to stop the warning light coming on if you don't allready have one.
  20. Advance make a true 4" dump to suit these cars
  21. the better your exhaust is, the easier the turbo will work
  22. Believe they have always been like that.
  23. Nizpro supply products that are designed to work, looks come second as far as prorities go, Do you guys have a 4" mandrel bender in your exhaust shop?
  24. these things can be impossible to diagnose over the internet or the phone, but torque management can happen at any time, not just on gear changes, quite often on the BA auto it will happen at lower revs in 3rd gear as it is coming onto boost. Your tuner needs to data log the car and find out if it a torque management issue rather than a mechanical issue
