  1. unless you want to run high boost in the midrange you will need to port the wastegate if you want correct boost control if it works like the nizpro exhaust
  2. SCT/Herrods are looking for a car to play with. but have not seen anyone come forward with one yet, On AFF there was a guy that was playing with software to do them, they did one car but would not supply dyno sheets etc and based on what was posted it did not look like they had complete control of the ecu
  3. If you are buying with the intention to mod, maybe you wait until there is some tuning software that works with them
  4. good to know if it is 100%
  5. The V band on the Nizpro exhaust is different to what most truck 4" bands are, the V is a different profile, well that's what we found when having to replaced a damaged one a couple of years back
  6. if you felt the PWR item you would know that it is quite heavy construction and any normal road/track debris would most likely have no ill affect on it and it does not hang low
  7. would not think so
  8. The swirl pot is being filled continuously from fuel forced into it when a correct rated pump is used for the application, even when fuel levels are below the top the swirl pot
  9. That's pretty cheap
  10. standard fuel system we have seen 396 I think it was, but no return line flow, the ramp rate was increased so more timing could be added to give an artificial power number, this was done as an experiment and the car ended up with 370ish final tune when loaded as we normally load them. Our electronic knock detection equipment picks up engine knock earlier than the human ear will pick it up, if somebody was to use a "spotter" to listen for knock there is a good chance that they will get more power for the same load conditions though because of the extra timing
  11. No
  12. that's what we did on Bels, the week it was out of warranty a PWR went on
  13. and it has correct oil flow
  14. the changes I commented on where the same size tyre and rim combo
  15. We have seen over 20 rwkw gain with a tyre change
  16. Something to think about, almost every automatic car ever produced has used an oil to water cooler, how many have problems?
  17. Something to think about, almost every automatic car ever produced has used an oil to water cooler, how many have problems?
  18. I have recorded data from several cars, so what other shops do is there business, many shops just look at afr and power and have no idea about how the system is performing. I don't need to ask them anything, I asked you if you had data to back up your statement or was it just internet claims
  19. some shops fit a controlled set of wheels and tyres when tuning, these can help with some dyno numbers coming from some shops. We have seen some cars make 400 rwkw from the GT3582 and others struggle even with all the right supporting mods, that's why we tell our customers not all cars will make 400 with the stock turbo, no matter what the internet says
  20. if you are going to spend money on a new turbo, don't waste it on only buying a gt3582
  21. do you have any data to prove the 5.0 is capable of supporting the 5.0 at 400 rwkw, or are you just going by what you read on the net
  22. sorry mate, was thinking this was a XR6T,
  23. F6 cooler is not an upgrade
