  1. we have the KPM and ID's in stock at most times
  2. don't have my data with me at the moment, but pretty sure both have similar spray in the 1000cc injectors, both should idle well, and no the KPM are not the same as Bosch, they start life as Bosch injectors, but Bosch do not supply tuning data to suit our cars for any of their injectors
  3. both are good and come with correct tuning data, some tuners though prefer to tune with certain injectors, as jet said, you should consult them for their guidance
  4. look forward to reading all about it, good luck mate
  5. PAH, I have the same issues, but works with google chrome
  6. your turbo and manifold bolts really should be checked as part of any servicing
  7. exhaust housing is the same size on all falcon models
  8. over 150f on a single dyno run
  9. mainly temps, we have had cars that will not go over 275 rwkw without pinging with stock coolers, a decent cooler and the same car will go over 300 rwkw
  10. clutches are the main thing that wears in most boxes, clearance is one of the main things that will influence what the box will shift like, we have done boxes but our ZF programme is still in R&D
  11. Does it have clutch pack clearances etc?
  12. I would agree with jet, just this once though
  13. you should go with what your tuner recommends as they are the ones that are responsible to get it right, but having tuning data is a huge leap ahead of trying to do it without data as some of the data can not be generated accurately in a workshop environment.
  14. ev14 are better than the deka's but still there is a wide range of EV14's and they are all different, only ID and KPM supply correct tuning data for our cars
  15. there are many ev14 injectors but all still need a tune
  16. Deka 80's have a narrow spray pattern, in a 4 valve motor like the Barra, the spray will be hitting the divider wall rather than going directly into the ports, pretty much the same as when stock injectors are drilled. From experience a while back we found BA and BF where not affected by this as much as FG was, but some people just turn the engine light off so no warning lights come on even when a code is set.
  17. your injector choice will not be helping the situation but still should be able to be tuned
  18. Top fuelers do not have any electronic control at all, they are not allowed to, they are all mechanical, well unless the rules changed in the last couple of years, they do have data loggers butr do not think they are recording too much engine stuff. Have not done a late model NA with open pipes the see how they go with knock sensors, but if they were loud enough then they would also cause issues, even piston to bore clearances can cause issues
  19. Does a top fueler even knock with it's nitro methane mix?, they just hydraulic normally, but doubt you would find a knock sensor on one, whipper sniper? well a knock sensor is almost as big as the whipper snipers engine and don't think too many people change their advance curves on them do they? but still not as loud as a screamer
  20. screamer causes enough noise and vibration for a knock sensor, even when calibrated, to create a voltage which the ecu see's this a knock event and triggers spark retard, no chance of the human ear hearing it, they can be tuned but the tuner is flying blind with the numbers
  21. the answer is no, I think that's what jet was trying to post.
  22. it can still not be heard to have an accurate tune but E85 does not have to be as close to the knock threshold to make it's power as 98 does, although some still take it to far
  23. Engine noise can not be heard over the volume of the screamer pipe and the volume triggers the electronic knock detection sensors into thinking there is knock when in fact there is not. The falcon engine on 98 octane will still make power while pinging so unlike some engines the torque trace does not help with max spark advance tuning
  24. I won't do a falcon on 98 with a screamer anymore due to not being able to hear knock
  25. not if the wastegate is shut
