    I would be content on low 10,s as I realize the utes are extremely hard to get into the 9,s the nos was a piece of piss,theres only a couple of rules to abide by,do that and your all sweet!!it only took one power run on nos to make that power.. so we havent even bothered to muck around with timing to make more power,as im happy at that for a staring point. cheers lee

    thanks guys!!would love to go sat nite but its the girlfriends bday and it wouldnt go down to well lol,im still trying to justify nos and a new turbs!! im champing at the bit to get to the track,though at this stage it will be on mt radials and they couldnt hold 350rwkw,so it should be interesting!!! thanks mic that's the plan though I really need to get it up to andra spec... so you can have a good go without the stress of being booted! the anti surge cover definatly sounds the business even over the .7 cheers lee

    hi guys,put nos on the ute a month ago but the turbo died after a hard 120000km!!so I bought a turbo of kyle(6boost)which is a gcg gt3566r spl-2 in other words a t04z centre with a 0.8 ported anti surge front cover. finally fitted it on the weekend and a big thanks to paul and the elite crew for fitting me in on short notice for the tune!! on pump fuel we ended up making 385rwkw,which is around 30rwkw more than we have on elites dyno and considering the ute has run 10.72 with 350rwkw it should drop that time a fair bit!! we then took a bit of timing out and threw a 100hp shot at it.. and it made 427rwkw!! so through a powerglide.. I can only imagine will be a handful at the track!! once again a big thanks to paul and elite crew I appreciate the effort you guys go too!! cheers lee

  9. ive heard karls(hiro)spiro,s and bradens fg all sound very tough with atomic cams!!
  10. you will struggle to make 400rwkw on pump fuel factory turbo through a powerglide!!aim for anything over 350 would be a great result!!my ute runs consistant 10,s with 350.good luck with it all cheers lee

  17. with 325 rwkw you should not do any power runs in 4th gear,its just an overdrive it will slip badly and will destroy the box quite quickly!!I accidently did it once and instantly lost a couple of gears and that was with a well built box. cheers lee
  18. yes ypur tuner will just have to download the manual program into it,the same thing they do when you change to an older auto(powerglide,c4 etc) cheers lee
  19. low 11,s at only a 3/4 track run,are you kidding?you should be happy with a low 11 on a full pass!!you seem to have this belief that its easy to run 10,s..maybe that's why there isnt hundreds of turbos running 10,s!!hope you prove me wrong though I doubt it.
