Hi Brian, have managed to get your hands on the Nizpro Carbon Fibre plenum? If so, have you managed to do any testing or power runs with it? What are your thoughts on it??

I would most definately support such a class. I really feel that the V8 Supercars have strayed too far from their predacessors. I cannot see how they call highly modified and enineered supercars Holdens and Fords... All that is retained is the outer shape... What an abomination.... bring back the C class racing with the 500 production units to qualify for entry and we will once again have our iconic muscle cars... While I am at it. I hope that Karma catches up with 888 racing... Just my 2c

What happens if you don't flash the correct kilometer reading across?

I recently touched up my 3' polished cold side piping. I used a polishing wheel that had no stitching holdong it together as ones that do tend to mark the metal. The wheel also had a fitting that fitted into a drill. I ground the fitting until it was rtound and fittied it to my die grinder.I did this simply becasue a drill will get extremely hot under such load and lenght of use. I slowed the die grinder speed by adjusting it's air flow. This made it alot safer and easier to use in tighter places than a drill. Be sure to get the right abrasive bar when doing the polishing and get ready to get very dirty.... I hope that this helps you in your quest... Regards Brad

Hi all, I have decided that I will attampt to do the flapper mod myself. As my "T" is my everyday drive car and I live 50kms from work I cannot afford to have the car pulled apart for any great amount of time. So, I am now trying to source the parts and information for the project. Can anyone tell me where I can puchase the larger flapper? Will the turbo require any new gaskets? Is there any specific torque settings required for its reassembly?? Any help tips tricks or advice that you could give me would be greatly appreciated... Regards Brad

How much is a FG Short going for?

Hi all, I will soon be looking at replacing the standard turbo so that I may get more power. I am considering a TO4Z as a replacement as I only want to get to aroung 450 rwkw. Unfortunately I have absolutely no idea about turbos or how housing sizes or impellers affect performance. Could someone please shed some light on the subject and maybe tell me what I should be looking for so that I will not be sold the wrong product.. Thank you for your time... Regards Brad

I currently have your V2 cooler and 3' cold side piping. How hard is it to adapt the plenum to this? I would be very interesed if it proceeds..

I pay $159 for my 1500/256 connection... BUT!, it is a true unlimited connection... I am a very heavy user and download up to 13Gb per day and average around 250+ GB per month. My best month so far is 300Gb. For me, this is the best plan that I can get for the amount of data that I recieve. I have absolutely no throtteling or down time. I would love a faster connection, but ISP's do not offer such data usage on their plans... Each to their own... There are some great plans out there.. Maybe you should look on forums like Whirlpool.net.au. They have a great plan search engine... Good luck...

Will Newer Model Seat Fit Into An Xf Ghia
HI PSI replied to HI PSI's topic in Interior & Exterior Workshop
Thanks for the reply's. I have already posted the same topic on Ford Forums... I'm not to concerned about the fronts... Replacing the rails is a fairly sytraight forward task. I am more concerned about the rear seats.... I am now considering adding two bucket seats to the rear and extending the centre copnsole or just getting a retrim... I guess that I will have top do a trip to the Dept of transport and get some details... -
Hi guys and gals. I know that this is steering a bit away form the majority of models/cars featured on this site. But I am nearing the completion of my V8 XF Ghia porject car. The factory interior is in good condition except for the drivers seat. I am now thinking of replacing the front and rear seats and I am curious to know if the seats out of any later model cars will fit? I have heard rumours that EB seats will fit the rear with little to no modifications. Can anyone verify this or suggest seats from other models. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you have any pics, please add them to your post.... I am sorry if this is posted in the wrong section. I was/am unsure as to where to post it... Thanks for your time.... Brad

Post what brand and model the subs are and I will run it through my Bassbox (Subwoofer enclosure design)Program.. Does the enclosure have a partition seperating the woofers? How are the woofers wired up? What amp and power supply are you running? Is the box air tight? Check this by pressing the driver in. If it comes back slowly, It is sealed well. If it comes out fast, it has a leak that MUST be fixed... As a leaking box will kill your driver as it will have poor control and tend to over excurt.... Low pass filter should be set to around 80Hz.

I found this bar on Ebay some time ago. I still had it in my watching list as I am interestedin putting it on my T with DJR 320 side skirts and a BF GT rear bar.. He said that a very small portion may have to be cut to allow for the cooler.. Here is a copy of his add and number.... Brand New Ford Falcon BF Super Car Front Bumper Comes With Grill Mesh Will Fit BA & BF Cars & Utes High Quality Australian Made PH:0402064444 Anywayt, I hope that this helps you make a decision. I am still looking for a BF GT/Typhoon cover... I might jhave to sell a kidney to get it though...

We really need a bit more information befroe we can give you a precise answer. Inverted subs in a sealed enclosure, is fitted purely for cosmetic reasons.. If your custom enclosure is sealed, It will make very little A difference to the sound as the volume of the driver is not great enough to dramatical affect the vloume of the enclosure. The less the volume, the greater the spl and power required. A ported enclosure is a totally different story, As the tuning of the box will be affected by the change in volume and I would recommend that you leave it alone. Remember to change the polarity of the subs when you change them. A ported box should always be run out of phase and it will give a harder and deeper bass as it forces the air across the port... I hiope that this helps answer your question...

Fuel Filter Change Highly Recomended
HI PSI replied to Adrian6T's topic in Fuel System & Induction Workshop
I wonder if people actually think to change the socks on their standard or Walbro 340/341 fuel pumps???? I thnk that this filter is normally forgotten or overlooked... I recently purchased a spare Walbro pump and 3 extra socks for this reason... The primary filter (socks on the pumps) must also be changed as they are the first point of contact with contaimnants. The inline filter is the secondary filter.... If the primary filter is not replaced the fuel flow will suffer.. I changed my inline filter when the car had 60K on the clock. I was dismayed when I emptied the filter into a container. Judging by the amount of Black Grit ( Due to where I lived, I assumed is coal dust) I was amazed that it even flowed any fuel.... Due to this I decided to remove the fuel pump (Walbro 341) and check it's sock also. It was also heaviy clogged therefore greatly decreasing fuel flow... I purchased my spare socks for $10 Each from the last group buy. I think that it is a small price to pay for peace of mind... -
