  4. You seem to have a 20hp earlier through the range than me.. Through most of the range.. Yet wet have the same boost levels... My tune 459.1hp was with that miss/surge problem... What dump you have?? 4 inch??? I'm dying to get one and see what difference it makes....
  5. I was enquiring on another forum, looking for the best possible exhust system for my 500+ hp cloevo that going in to my XF GHia.. A member posted a link to a site in the "States" that does oval exhausts.. It looks the gods and would most definately flow well and fix an ground clearance issues.. OVAL EXHAUST PIPE LINK Does anyone know if anyone in Oz supply this ??

    They ppulled me up today. The cops in the dark blue VE wagon. One transport guy with him... Asked me to pop the bonnet and then proceeded to ask: Q- "What is it with your blow off valve" A- What do you mean? Q- It's venting to atmosphere? A- No. It's plumbed back. Q- No it just runs under the battery. A- yes that is where th intake is... Duh !!! Q- Oh !!! Is it really? They then complimented me... "Good work... Have a nice day".... So I Got the hell outta there... Luckily though they didn't book me for venting my rocker cover to the atmosphere with the breather that I have on there...

  14. Hi all.... I have been offered a set of FG Conrods on thecheap and I am now considering throwing these into my spare BAII engine. I would dearly love a forged engine, but other commitments have priority. Money is tight.... So I am thinking of freshening the crank and bearings, Koneski Pump gears and retaining the standard pistons.. I am not chasing Monstrous power. I want a reliable 370 rwkw.. What are your thoughts?
  15. In all honesty the Alpine hub is no worth the money. The picture quality is woeful as it is prone to electrical inteference from the car. I went the ASL Logisica path with a Jvc DvD player. This is by far th best option if you want agood picturre quality. My car was the guinea pig for the Asl system at our loca Alpine dealer. They no longer push the V-Hub as they feel that it is inferior (Picture quality)to my method..
  16. I had big surging isues with mine. Irradic idle,surging and stalling. Espcially on downshifting. It kept smashing the backlash on the diff... All this after I installed my PW Surge tank and 044. Turned out to be the fuel regulator was blocked. It had 800 psi fel pressure aganst the reg. New reg ad all is fine. This is just my experience. I am sure that thers will post also. A coil pack would give you miss right through the rev range. SO not thator plugs... Pump, filter or reg in my humble opinion..
  17. I have now found the problem with mine. It was the fuel Regulator. The fine mesh was almost completely blocked. It had a small hole I the mesh. about the size of a pen nib. I'm guessing that this was damaged due the the majority of te fuel flow going through tis area. The gauge used to measure the fuel presure went off the clock at 800 psi.. No wonder I was having problems. No back for a new tune as it is now running rich... Thank you very much to all that gave their time and advice.
  18. I put the Xcal3on the car today and couldnot bring up any error codes.. So now I am thinking that it may well be the fuel Reg as the problem stared when I put the PW Surge tank and 044 on. The car seems to have a constant miss like it it trying to retard itself. Plugs and coils have been replaced... So not that. Car goes into a shop tomorrow. See if they can work it out..

  20. My My problems are a little different. I have a very irregular idle. Sounds like it s running on 5 cylinders. I have replaced the coils andplugs. So they are eliminated. So now to the T.P>S. I a sure that it is the proble. I also sometimes get high idle. But it shows no particular patter. I wentto Ford today to get a prie oon a T.p.s and ound that they only sell the complete thottle body. SO that is out the window... Now to look for an afermarket version...
  21. I used double insulated power wire . Use the pink wire off the fuel pump relay in the engine bay. It is a timed relay and shuts the fuel pump down after around 3-4 seconds of priming.This feature comes in handy when loading tunes into the car. As the fuel pump would run continuously otherwise. If you take the metal screw tab off the relay (If fitted) You can fit the relay onto a tab inside the fuse/relay box and make it look factory.. I ran the wire forwards and then throught he inner gueard. Between the plastic guard and the chassis. It come back through the inner gueard near the brake booster then across the back of the engine with the brake lines... I personally have only one problem with this setup. My fuel pump seems to shut down if I start the car and let it idle. If don't start driving immediately and will do this 2-3 times then it is fine.. If I drive off immediately it is fine... Go figure.. Maybe I need a one way check vale put between the pump and the fuel rail... I hope that this helps
  22. What are the inducted noise levels like with the Super-Pro bushes Senna? Are they as quiet as the factory items?
  23. I think that the will be determined at the officers discretion... And that is a real concern. This is the reason that I opted for a fpv gauge pod... They can't argue with a factory item...I attract enough attention as it is without compounding the situation....

I really want to keep out of that side as I have no idea of how the XR grilles are held in there. Or what is involved in replacing them... I am more tan happy to forward them onto you also... That is if you are interested in chasing it up.... Shane (Laser Cutter) is more than happy to chat to you's about it.. GOD I HATE this reply section.. It comes up all messed up in the reply section... GRRRRRR
