  1. As I live in regional Queensland, I do not have the luxury of having performance shops, that have built high horsepower Barra engines. So, when choosing my intercooler, I spoke to Kevin from Process West, and Alex from Plazmaman. Both were absolutely fantastic, and took time out of their busy schedules to explain the principles and flow charistics of each brand and were open and honest about the pro's and con's of each brand. In the end, I followed what the guys in the big hp cars (Spiko and Qik1) were running, and purchased a Plazmaman 1900hp cooler and supporting components. With the aforementioned gentlemen having such exceptional performance specialist assisting with their builds, I thought it foolish to ignore their test proven parts. Although their goals are much higher that mine, I wanted to ensure that I had an effective and efficient system, which would be conducive to making power. I know that their particular applications do not suit, or are necessary for the majority of users, But, in essence, the fundamentals of each cooler design would still be the same, with lower power output engines.

  5. I have just fitted the PBR C2 callipers and rotors to the front of my Ba Turbo and the Speedy Envy 19 x 8.5 +38 wheels won't fit, as they hit the callipers. I have the same wheel in a +30 and it clears, will all +38 wheels have this problem, or does it depend on their construction? Any suggestions that you could give me on wheels that would clear the callipers would be greatly appreciated.
  6. I need a new set of wheels due to pothole damage. I have a BA sedan and I would like to run staggered wheels. I understand that wider wheels may require the guards to rolled, and I am happy to do so if necessary. What would be the prefect width and offset, to keep wheels inside the arches with neutral camber, without having to stretch tyres?
  7. Having numerous vehicle thefts in my local area, has me very concerned that some little turd might like my car more that I do.. So, I want to get a security system to protect my investment and I would really love some advice on what to get. Cheers
  8. My best advice that I can give you... Is don't be a scrooge, as you will only have to fork out more money, later down the line. Buy right, buy once...
  9. I was trying to upload pictures into a thread that I was creating tonight and I could not add pictures. The window for the link appears and when you paste the link in nothing happens. Every part of the screen (except the link box) goes grey. Despite hitting OK a million times, the link box will not disappear, nor can you cancel the picture or close the link box....It freezes, and the only way out is to either close explorer, or navigate back to the previous page. Any ideas???
  10. I have performed numerous searched on the forum and on google, for head gaskets that suit 14.3mm heads studs. As the studs are Atomic's, I am aware of their gasket range. However, I have not found any other brand that caters for the bigger studs. can anyone help me out and supply some information on alternate brands, or any experiences that you've had with the Atomic's.   11. I would like to purchase a alloy header tank for my car. With so many on the market, all ranging in price, I cannot decide on what to buy. Are the more expensive ones better, or are cheaper one just as good?

  16. I will be purchasing a new turbo next week, and I really need some feedback as to what is suitable for my needs. As I was rather vague with my previous posts, I will go into greater detail I have chose quite a different path in my build, to maximise the dollar to horsepower ratio. All in all I would like to achieve (If possible) around 600rwkw, or better out of a T3 turbo. FG F6 short engine - Standard pistons with Atomic 998 rods Atomic stage 3 cams Atomic 14.3mm head studs Atomic 10mm Mains girdle with Atomic main studs Atomic balancer Billet pump gears 6Boost high mount - T3 flange CES dump pipe Turbonetics external gate 6Boost exhaust - off Spiro's F6 Process West 4' intake Process West - battery Relocation kit Process West Surge tank - 1 x 044 and Walbro in tank. (Additional pump in transit) Currently has a Rapid V3 cooler kit - Soon to be replaced with a better unit... (Still to be determined) The car is manual with a Mal wood option 5 Clutch.

  19. I read some time ago, of a factory mount turbo that was pushing well into the 500rwkw mark. It was all secret squirrel stuff at the time. Does anyone have any info on it? In relation to a high mount turbo for the same output, is the GTX 4202r and GTX 4294r still the turbo of preference?
