they were blue, the ba ones were black and look like bigger squirters

its all running beautiful! For some reason the car didnt like the bf throttlebody and injectors from the f6, we put all my old fuelrail injectors tb and everything on and its cranked and drove first go! car is like brand new! next stop will be off to CMS for a general checkover! So happy!

everyone is saying fuel pressure or lines, that's what I thought, cause essentially there the same engine, it just run and start np!

Hi guys, weve recently swapped in a low km bf typhoon motor into my ba ute keeping existing wiring harness and computer, I rang up Joe at CMS and he said everything will just swap straight over and run fine, but it started up for 15seconds then died, and now nothing, there are no fault codes coming up on the diagnostics. Any ideas?

Im going to try and get the bf harness hes supplying me with swapped for a ba one, just rang Joe at Cresent motorsport he helped me a HUGE deal, the new pckage gets dropped off tomorrow, Everything will be left standard apart from the bigger fmic and catback exhaust for now, need to recoup the funds, im really looking forward to where this is going though! Thankyou all so much for helping me out with fast replies! I shall make a build topic as soon as I found out where it is! hahah

ive purchased a 45000xkm BF f6 engine with all accessories, bit the bullet, I couldnt go back to a ba motor knowing ide want to do boltons and chase 400+ down the track, really excited now!

it has a capa flash tuner in the cente console

ive read I can keep my ba computer, just have to get it tuned, it would need to be tuned anyway

Ok so ive sourced an f6 BF motor with low kms, what do I need to do to make it work? What wiring harness do I need, computer etc to suit BA mk2

Is it a straight swap over though? I want the least hassles possible for my mechanic.

mr hdt in dubbo is what I have the dyno sheets for 399hp... I kind of need a whole setup as my wiring is cactus and powersteering pump is rooted too. would a bf motor slot straight in without any dramas?

yeh hopefully I can pickup a good low km motor with wiring harness this week, just want it back on the road, then start the boltons haha, ill be happy with 300ish kws to start

yeah we'll see whats about, the last owner has done the dodgiest sh*t, my mechanic didnt even want to look at it, the wiring harness is literally glued into the rockercover and stuff, its digusting, backyard mechanics annnoy me!
