1. 99 bucks is an awesome price, I can't locally produce them for that price so hats off to Kev for that... jump on gcg webite and see what the pictured SFS silicon joiner costs to get an idea of production costs... it all adds up way beyond a donut and a few fittings
2. You re-use the OEM self-tapping screw.
3. Yes, there's a twin tip Y piece system that fits up, has the twin 3inch double walled tips, or a single 4inch chrome tip. Basically the same as what comes on the ute systems.
4. Its more so the muffler size/design that the pipe size, Ive made some silly loud 3.5inch systems and some super quiet 4inch systems, always comes down to the muffler style and positioning. The Xforce 4inch muffs are fairly large and free flowing, and most likely packed differently to the 3.5inch ones... Dont get me wrong, their not over the top loud, but definately not quiet, you can happily cruise on the freeway and not suffer drone, but you will hear the note, where as the 3.5inch system will be fairly quiet under the same conditions. Also the mild steel systems are usually deeper in note due to the thicker, heavier piping and muffler casing.
5. The Xforce 3.5inch system for utes flows very well, but its the rear muffler on the SEDAN 3.5inch system that is a restriction, we've made 500kws on these ute systems, but that's pretty much the limit. I've started selling the 3.5inch system with a better flowing rear muffler, so its the whole Xforce system with a better flowing 3.5inch rear muffler. It does work out louder but isnt drony or too loud that you'll be pulled over. The first few we sold had rear mufflers that required some exhaust shop welding to fit, but know we've jigged up the new muffler to bolt on as the Xforce one does. The Xforce twin 2.5 systems have always been solid performers up to around 400kws. The above are for BA BF Xforce FG systems are well sorted and flow very well. The 3.5inch system is fairly quiet, with a nice snarl up top, and the 4inch system is the one for those that like to be noticed Its got a big note that sounds awesome... so don't expect any runs at the lights lol the other guy will know your fast straight away.
6. I'm not going to give him a call... I just meant I already have his number saved, along with hundreds of other XR6T customers that have called me. I spose I could call him and thank him for the free advertising lol
7. Nice result, are you planning on using straight E85? Or isnt it available at the pump in SA yet? And anyone thinking of trying E85... it's totally worth the effort!
8. Man that's so close! Good luck next time
9. Nice Evo matey, Id go for the 20g, still be snappy down low but have a better top end. If I could fit in an EVO Id get one too LOL owell
10. Yeah I saw that... then I went through my phones contact list and found his full name and ph number already stored LOL
11. Yeah mine are 3.5inch alloy mandrel pipe... I'm happy to match this guys price. Cheers Chris

13. Where the big Plazmaman cooler excel is in the top end of the market, I've worked with guys on alot of extreme high power cars where 600plus has been the starting point. There's loads of cars that have used bar & plate coolers right up to 600 and over with results, no denying that fact, but there is alot guys out there, mainly from mid last year onwards that have replaces their coolers with 1000, 1200, 1800 hp cooler made at plazman and have been freaked out by the extra power made just by changing the cooler. You look around and there's loads of 500/600kw cars with bar & plates, but look at the leaders, the guys pushing the envelope, the Envis, the spiros, these guys have figured it out, and alot of guys are doing the same... Bit of a trend to say the least. At this level it comes down to core design and endtank design, Plazmaman from their years of true race track r&d in intercooling (6sec cars under their belts) have searched world wide for the finest cores, not the cheapest, but the best for their applications.
14. Both are extremely different intercoolers, and have different efficiency ranges... Best to look around the forums and PM the guys who use them... but pay attention to those newer more recent posts as ALOT of top end cars, those that have already gone for 500kw and now looking at 600+, have swapped out their "1000hp" coolers and replaced with Plaz coolers. I'm not trying to sound biased due to the fact I sell Plazmaman product, but their are some of the fastest XR6Ts and most powerful running big Plazmaman coolers..
15. I use an AEM wideband in the G6et, its simple and doesnt need any extra boxes mounted under the dash, its all in the guage. And connect it to SCT Live Link for data logging on lap top. There only a few hundred bucks, and a wideband is the best monitoring you can have for a modified turbo car... with all the fluctuations we get in boost AFRs ect, your be stupid not to use one. It always amazes me, the amount of people that spend thousands on their XR6T to run high boost and huge power, but dont monitor the AFRs with a in car wideband... to me its like not having a boost guage lol.
16. That is getting a touch lean mate... prob a fuel system issue rather than tune, as I'd say it was tuned fatter than mid 12s Check the main fuel filter, fuel pump(s) and intank filter... if the fuel system isn't performing as well as it was when tuned, fuel pressure can be lower, so the car may run leaner.
17. Hey fpv_f6, Your FG is one of only 4 I know of that that has come close to 350wkws on the stock smaller turbo, and the only manual I know of at 350. Nizpro did a G6ET that pulled 350, and another on FF made 350odd with E85, Ryno's has 346(?) and they are all autos. anyone that knows turbos can do the "theory" and work out what the smaller FG turbo can flow in terms of KW, compared to BA BF or FG F6 turbos You've seen it pull this power plenty of times on CMS dyno, but maybe for peice of mind, run it on another non Ford shops dyno and see how it reads... maybe run it on JEM dyno? Or do a quarter mile run for a true result. As we've told you, you can't fit the new actuator without adjusting the tune... which is why you have to pay more than just the labour costs. If a shop that has never tuned your car, wants $1000 to fit an actuator, they are also going to tune it, which is why it adds up... Add it up... a few hours to fit $200, cost of the actuator $100-$200, and tune $400-$1000... see how the price varies shop to shop. Bang for buck you've pretty much got the best deal going... cooler kit, exhaust & tune got you 348kws, theres loads of guys who spent way more and got less mate. Hope that clears things up mate, if not give me another call Cheers Chris
18. Run your practice launch's and tens in VIC... then come to WSID and run the 9
19. RAP1D

Gt42R

And with bigger injectors it'll go 650
20. Stock FG pump "usually" supports 350wkws give or take... over 350+ its a good idea to get a surge tank / 044 or better.
21. Mine are tested up to 30psi in my g6et, visually they are identicle size shape ect to stock springs, and reuse the stock retainers, hence the lower $$, also ran Atomic HDs in it and they were fine. For over 30psi I recomend atomics race springs.
22. Hi Guys, Well I'd like to start off by apologizing to those customers that have had delays on their orders, obviously nothing I can say will change their minds on how they feel about my business, and how they feel they were serviced, so I won't make any excuses, product was delivered to some customers later than promised, and I as a business operator have learned a huge lesson, both in customer service and in general operations, and will strive to give better time frames where late orders are inevitable. I've updated most of the concerned customers that have posted in this thread, Colsey I'll be sending you a PM shortly regarding your order, but please feel free to call me tomorow aswell. I'd like to thank our forum owner for his professional, honest advise today and in notifying me of this thread, so that I can deal with it and sort out those that have concerns. Upon reading this thread I didnt see how it concerned me until I read further into it and saw the posts regarding late deliveries, this has been a struggle for us on certain products from time to time, but I didnt know certain people felt the way they did. Maybe Ive been far too busy to notice, as I don't have any where near the time I used to, for reading and participating in this forum, but it truly saddened me to read various negative posts from our moderating team, that I certainly didn't expect. I'd like anyone that has a problem with myself or my business to please call me, 0403 981831, so we can discuss their issues, new customer, old customer or if you've just been told something you don't agree with, just call, I'm happy to talk to anyone. My business started from a hobby I had back in 2006, I bought a BA XR6T and like most poeple on here, loved it like mad, and wanted to make it faster, and faster and faster. I started off changing intercooler systems around, trying different cores, pipes , intakes, you name it, I tried every variable I could think of to find what worked best for myself... along the way I posted pics and wrote up threads on what I had done and what results I was getting. To my supprise alot of guys were interested and asking loads of questions on what I had done, why I didnt buy product that was already available, and most supprisingly of all, could I do it for them. I started making a few intercooler systems, and learning about peoples expectations when they hand over large amounts of cash, from these sales I made great friends who are still goof friends now. My very first intercooler system sold is still on the same BA now, working perfectly and the owner is preparing to run 10s with it, and that is something I am very proud of. Over the 3 years of being in business I didnt really belive I could accually get this busy, with the first 2 years being nice and steady, I was able to keep up with the moderate demand, but in the last year or so its become so busy that I ended up making lame excuses for why orders and time frames havnt been met, rather than straight with patient customers. For that I am not proud of, nor planning on going down that road again, so I guess in a way I'm happy to see a thread come to this. I am proud of what I've been able to achieve in a few years, starting a business from zero money and making it profitable is very hard, and made extremely hard by this ultra competitive industry. Even though there is alot less money in it than poeple may think, I still love being part of it... as long as my business supports itself, my family, and pays the lease on my G6ET I'll be happy, and if I can make other like minded people happy with their cars, then that makes it all worth while. I have big plans for my business over the next few years, my main goal being increasing stock levels so we can get product out alot faster and always on time. As alot of you know, its a small business, on some items we keep low levels of stock, which means turn over is usualy fast, but with a huge bank roll behind us, I can't keep hundreds of each product on the shelf. Other products are imported in larger quantities, but still require locally made parts to complete the kit, this is often where I fall short, but the good thing is our suppliers and fabricators are excellent and always able to get parts to me, though they too get extremely busy, so it can throw things out. Part of my goal is to have completed intercooler kits, packed and ready to ship, but the hard part is keeping up with demand and getting in front, I will get there, its just taking alot of time and money, as does in expanding any business, especially in these financial times where sales are down, not just in this industry but most industries. I've got alot of new ideas and products to bring to our XR6T-F6 community, of which will see some new ideas and approaches to modifying our cars, but being so busy with work I havnt had the right amount of time to either post or continue developing, but I'll get there eventually. Well thank you for taking time to read this, and hopefully poeple can understand where I come from, it's by no means a cop out, just the best way I can think of, to give people some understanding. I'll be doing a FAQ thread in my sponsors section, and also will have another contact number people can use if the main one isnt getting through... unfortunatly I'm stuck with Vodafone, so voice mail comes up alot. Thanks guys, but please, if you need to address any issues just contact me direct, I wont have time to answer them on here. Cheers Chris
23. Great pics, looks like you guys had fun... bit of a smoke show I see lol
24.

Try re-booting laptop and just start Live link on its own, plug in xcal to the car, then to the lap top, then turn ignition on... should all start up ok. The data logging is awesome, but only good if you know what your looking at, and know what pids to log... otherwise its just lots of fancy lines, eh Mat lol
