  1. I want a mustang now
  2. xr06t - Yep I think with these tyres 13's are very possible. Empee - Try 20psi , then 3k rpm launches, ride then clutch a wee bit. see what happens. What im doing at the track is 16psi, 3k take offs. While trying to keep wheels spin to a minimum
  3. get an old beetle
  4. yep ive droped about 60kg off it, interior is still there 100% stock my ute weighs around 1680+
  5. and it gets better... He believes merc's and bmw's come with them
  6. yes 120rwkw on a ea is a good combo, but this guy rekons it gives him a 7 tenth advantage
  7. dammm you being trying for weeks
  8. NOS XR - ill be going out there next week eMPee - do u you a heavy duty clutch? or a newish standard one? Either way, its all to do with practice, ive been out the the track 4 times now, and even now im no pro, as the old saying goes, "practice makes perfect" Just experiment on a quiet rd with tyre pressure and rpm. NA-06-XR - On the weigh bridge at the track, my ute tipped the scales at 1606.5kg, that was with just under 1/4 tank of fuel.
  9. well, there always more go fast parts I could throw on, but im going to fiddle with tyres. A friend of mine is going to let me borrow hes 16x8's that have track tires on em I will be able to get a even harder luanch then.
  10. theres a fool on FF that belives he can do a 14.2 with stock factory tune in a N/A using that contraption
  11. more hp... read the page and have a laugh
  12. holy sheit!!! that's insane, atleast now it can be a cab chassis
  13. At Wsid tonight I stomped a 14.3!!! Im still using street tyres too. Just I have taken some weight off around 60kg, and showed up with just under a 1/4 of tank of fuel. I knew from as soon as I left the line it was going to be an awesome time
  14. I drove around for 3 years using 91 octane, I did put a tank of 95 and 98 in it once, did absoulely nothing, if your car isnt tuned for higher octane fuels you wont get a gain at all. I noticed that you bought a 02 sensor from ebay too, have you put that on?
  15. that's a very nice looking XT you have there Those dual exhaust is going to get a few questions and responses from other members, looks tough Make aure you get the Comp headers, worth the extra money, and save your self some headache later on. If you know of any nice roads that are Dubb friendly but still fun for the rest of us please suggest, I don't know anything north of sydney
  16. have u taken it to ford to have a look Do u have the 4sp or 6 speed auto?
  17. Troy There are a few of us that live down here, a cruise would be a good idea. Something that involves some twisty roads???? Theres a first unofficial B Series meet n greet at liverpool this saturday, but that a bit far for you. Whats the stats on your car?
  18. well she said 160,000kms, so it must be the triple platinums. Since I have just forked out $100 for the autolite ones I might just chill for a bit. Also the autolite ones I have are gaped at .9mm, while my old ones were gaped at .8mm, so I do have a wee bit bigger gap. I'll rather wait till I see the results. Also I think you should wait till you got those high output coils before testing. that price I listed before included GST
  19. Hey, I just do what I gots to do
  20. Good news Greg, I called up lynx corp, they have em in stock. There pre gaped to 1.3mm, they last 160,000kms. They cost $24.70 inc GST, I said I will have to get back to you on the numbers I want to buy because a few friends are interested in buying them, she said, the more number of spark plugs you buy, the cheaper they will get.
  21. I dont have pics of the plugs as I never took any before I put them in. I can take a pic of the little box they come in. I'll give em a call, do my bit for the team
  22. also I vote for jmm spark plugs(Autolite spark plugs) $90 I had a k&n oil filter, and I used to have a oil pressure gauge too, I found the k&n doesnt flow as good as well as say a Ryco or valverlean
  23. I say: capa flash tuner $1000 Bf xr8 lower headlight snorkle$65 xr6 turbo upper snorkle$40 k&n air filter $120 2nd hand xr6turbo/ xr8/typhoon exhaust $150 metal cat $300 pacemaker 4995 headers $500 underdrives $ (ask Nosxr)
  24. When I did my 14.5 pass I didnt go into 4th I just held the rpm in 3rd untill I crossed then line. so 4.11's in my opinion would be too much.
  25. when your going down the 1/4 you would not be below 4k after the launch, so I think these will do very well. Same thing in circut racing. But for everyday driving might be different. There has to be a acompamise somewhere. When I put these on I wont mind a lill bit missing from low rpm, cos when I putt to work n home, I dont see over 2-2.5k max. Well with 187 at the wheels, that actually is really impressive considering you havent change your plenum or cams. So your mission to get to 200 at the wheels is only a matter of time. I've seen the results of a log plenum bring 16rwkw. Which could mean 203rwkw for your car........
