  1. xr06t - Yep I think with these tyres 13's are very possible. Empee - Try 20psi , then 3k rpm launches, ride then clutch a wee bit. see what happens. What im doing at the track is 16psi, 3k take offs. While trying to keep wheels spin to a minimum
  2. yep ive droped about 60kg off it, interior is still there 100% stock my ute weighs around 1680+
  3. and it gets better... He believes merc's and bmw's come with them
  4. yes 120rwkw on a ea is a good combo, but this guy rekons it gives him a 7 tenth advantage
  5. dammm you being trying for weeks
  6. NOS XR - ill be going out there next week eMPee - do u you a heavy duty clutch? or a newish standard one? Either way, its all to do with practice, ive been out the the track 4 times now, and even now im no pro, as the old saying goes, "practice makes perfect" Just experiment on a quiet rd with tyre pressure and rpm. NA-06-XR - On the weigh bridge at the track, my ute tipped the scales at 1606.5kg, that was with just under 1/4 tank of fuel.
  7. well, there always more go fast parts I could throw on, but im going to fiddle with tyres. A friend of mine is going to let me borrow hes 16x8's that have track tires on em I will be able to get a even harder luanch then.
  8. theres a fool on FF that belives he can do a 14.2 with stock factory tune in a N/A using that contraption
  9. more hp... read the page and have a laugh
  10. holy sheit!!! that's insane, atleast now it can be a cab chassis
  11. At Wsid tonight I stomped a 14.3!!! Im still using street tyres too. Just I have taken some weight off around 60kg, and showed up with just under a 1/4 of tank of fuel. I knew from as soon as I left the line it was going to be an awesome time
  12. I drove around for 3 years using 91 octane, I did put a tank of 95 and 98 in it once, did absoulely nothing, if your car isnt tuned for higher octane fuels you wont get a gain at all. I noticed that you bought a 02 sensor from ebay too, have you put that on?
  13. that's a very nice looking XT you have there Those dual exhaust is going to get a few questions and responses from other members, looks tough Make aure you get the Comp headers, worth the extra money, and save your self some headache later on. If you know of any nice roads that are Dubb friendly but still fun for the rest of us please suggest, I don't know anything north of sydney
