If the plenum wasn't harming performance why would you change it anyway it's not as though you would have seen huge difference in the end power figure if you used a plenum like nizpro's anyway. The drif6 is over 300rwkw anyway which for something that was really just thrown together it still has done alright. Funny how the Drift F6 car ended up at Spiro's (autotech) for tuning, question wasn't FPV up to the job? Not really they wanted a tuner to look at the car while it was in Sydney they chose Autotech. Its not as though they have all the facilities they need to tune and check the car when they travel state to state. -
Well if these times are right I would hate to think how quick a new maloo ute would go (when they come out) being lighter then the sedan they could be quite a weapon. I think in any case I'll stick with ford the hsv's look disqusting to say the least, I can wait till the new ford comes out.

Yeah saw one yesterday to didn't think much of it. Side on look alright but look to much like a beefed up vectra. I think the hsv's will look pretty aggressive going of what they do show on the web site. But I suppose have to wait till tomorrow when they unviel them. It'll be intersting to see how motor magazine rates it.

also 1 question I'ld like to ask is that I get around 320km per tank but I still have like 60-90km left of the trip computer, this is withmy 287kwrw tune...does any1 beat this by much ????? ← In regard to fuel I average between 550 to 580 (80L tank) city driving and that's still with giving it a bit now and then. When I had the phase 2 I was coming back from melbourne filled up just about an hour out of sydney and range was at 870km. I do have the same issue where I fill up before the range hits around 40km as the bigger injectors dont make the trip computer accurate as I have run out of fuel at 13km and 22km before so in any case I'm still getting above 520km to a tank.

I use them at night and always will. I've been at plenty of rbt's and never asked to turn them off. I think its ridiculous that these cars come out with these lights as standard and the only time we allowed to use them is in extreme weather conditions. As far as I'm concerned anything that makes my car more visible to other drivers especially at night I'll use.

Quote:NSW GOV never forked out for Clubbies They did, just not for the police.Instead they got them for the defence force. Think about it american abrahams tank or Expensive Daewoo clubsport, I think its easy to tell which one is the better tank.

On my ute I've got 4 caliper front, single at the rear and at my power level there awesome. I think through the tuner I use you would be looking around $8000 but at least you would get front and rear brembos. And to correct Falchoon all new fpv's come standard with quad caliper front brembo's only and normal single rear calipers (except the gt-p which has front 6 caliper and 4 caliper rear) and in the utes even if you purchase the premium brake package they only upgrade the front brembo's to 6 caliper the rear stays the same. Personally I wouldn't go through ford unless you now someone who works in ford as when I bought my tornado ute they wouldn't let me bring it back and upgrade to brembos. So in the end it comes down to what your willing to spend. In the end I got mine for $5000 fitted as they were 2nd hand and had only done 1500km's so I was lucky but see how go.

yeah if your talking about that colour wired then you arent wrong. I think ford really needs start picking some better colours moreso in the ligther colours, I find the darker colours are not bad.

Looks good, just curious does the spoiler become a hassle when unlocking the cover? and just curious if you dont mind saying how much you paid? City ford in sydney wanted to charge me like $2300 to buy one like yours (no spoiler but) then over $500 to fit it so I told them where to go, so ended up buying a flat one for about $1800 and fitted it myself.

Just had a glance at the fpv website and found that not only have done the website up a bit but noticed the addition of a new colour Neo which doesen't look to bad. Also one of the other blue colours I think (blue pearl was the name ) is gone and also menace and mecury silver are going to discontinued after august. I say bring back blood orange and phantom these colours would suit the new typhoon with the black 19's to a tea.

Nice looking ute, is De ja Vu that pearl colour or is it just green. As for traction doesent the Bf have traction control.

In comparison to the LS1 and LS2 the boss v8 isn't bad you just have to remember that fords are alot heavier then holdens and when you look at the stats like torque and power: LS2 6.0L=530nm and 297kw Clubby R8 =1696kg Boss 5.4L=520nm and 290kw GT =1855kg So for an engine that is 600ml smaller in capacity yet produces nearly exactly the same stats for power and torque ford isn't doing that bad. Although I prefer the turbo in regards to the V8 I say throw the LS2 into a GT and see if it performs as well as what the boss V8 does.

well I started of with a vt commodore, got rid of that because the dealership's service centre kept screwing me around. So traded that in on a MK1 xr6 turbo sedan in blood orange and what an awesome step up.I had that for about 2 years then traded that in on a F6 tornado as I needed a ute more then the sedan and havent looked back since. I think holdens moreso hsv's are largely over priced and recently I was going to go to back to a sedan, I compared a clubsport r8 6.0l against a new bf typhoon and of the top of my head I think I could have nearly fully optioned the typhoon and still been cheaper then the clubby not to mention who wants a 6.0l v8 with pertol prices only going up and up, my family have always bought holdens but after I broke the tradition it looks like more of my family is going to the blue oval.

where did you get it from?

geez didn't see the side shot are they going to pass these of as sedans or hatch backs they barely have a boot.
