  1. Gday fellas, I recently pulled the box on my fg xr8 to do the clutch and all went off without a hitch except for a small miscellaneous black pipe that I cant seem to locate where to reconnect. It tee's off the RHS of the gearbox roughly where the shifter sits, is approx 5mm in diameter and travels forward up to the top/back side of the block. Have done some googling without much avail. if anyone could shed some light on what it is/where it goes to it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
  2. thanks mate, that confirms my suspicions I've been doing all the work myself and I don't have a tuner involved at this point as I'm in SA and the car was last tuned in perth. If I was to find a tuner who had access to the stock tune, would I guess correctly to assume they could upload it onto my tuner in one of the empty slots and I could simply flash it to stock using the same process as a custom remap?
  3. Hi fellas, was looking for some info to smooth out some roadblocks im hitting at the moment. Keeping it short the car is an fg xr8 with an aftermarket blower kit. Unfortunately I have to temporarily remove to pass an inspection. Anyway here's where im at -car was tuned when the kit was first put on with another flash tuner, which the original owner lost/kept -next owner re-tuned the car with a different flash tuner (xcal4) -I bought the car, have removed the kit and am now at the stage of hitting the back to stock tune button to get it running again now, 1) will my xcal4 have the stock tune on it, even though it was used as a retune over the top of another non standard tune? 2) if so, and I do return the car to standard tune via the xcal, will the current tune for the blower be lost? Cheers
