^sorry wasn't aware the series 1 rods couldn't handle such power. I'm use to hearing 300rwkw being achievable on an XR6T with bolt ons and tune.

that's a serious punch through the block hope insurance sorts its out also have you considered that may have been a fault with the engine and these conditions just put it over the edge? heard of a few XR6T having retainer springs, piston seals put on the wrong way and causing engine blows of lightly modified engines. Though water ingestion sounds likely, wouldn't of thought it result in something like this, people use water injection to minmise knock at high boost pressures.

Marcus sucks to hear that your stuff your diff mate, good to hear you got it fixed though. What oil did you put in the diff and have you ever changed it? wrx diffs have known problems including diff whine, fixed that problem and got better handling using a higher grade diff oil. Have a look at this oil, worked great for me. http://www.redlineoil.com/products_gearlub...=61&subcatID=20 think part of the problem is that diff when cained get hot (race cars have massive diff coolers), people after a track day change the engine oil but not the diff oil, just my theory anyway. 22" = wank factor Part of the suspention is the tyre, a sliver of tyre makes for sh*thouse ride and handling. Small profile tyres have little in terms of slip and flex for cornering. On top that 22" tyres are really expensive, low quality and wear out quickly. Large rims are for clowns who cant drive

The time it takes to degrade, also engine response, how easily it revs. I run a 03 wrx, I use 10-40w engine oil, I use redline engine oil http://www.redlineoil.com/products_motoroi...=45&subcatID=14 Best oil I've used so far and fken expensive, $110 per 3.7L. Can withstand trackwork and then some, still better to change whatever oil more often rather than $$$ of oil.
