I would expect with big torque down low a decent ratio gearbox and a lower diff ratio like the standard "T" is getting is MkII I would assume it would run around 13.4-13.6 If not a little quicker.........

Mate that will look fantastic, I have seen a pick of a BA XR8 ute with the V8 Front bar on it and the only think is you should trim down the Lip. I have seen a Au XR8 Sedan and now a Au XR8 Ute done like this and they look fantastic Although those pics of the rear bar are of an AU V8Supercar so you may want to get the Ba one Besides that good luck cannot wait to see it finished

well the XR6T & XR8 are gone, but now we have a FPV Pursuit ute and all I can say is that this is the best performance Car/Ute I have been in now yes in the wet it does struggle for a bit of traction but that is all in the fun of having a ute now isn't it. Since the beast only has about 600Km on it we haven't really been able to give it heaps yet but one thing I have noticed is how good this thing sounds it already has a completely awesome note to it anyway it is.... 2004 March build FPV Pursuit, Mercury Silver, Manual, leather, towbar, MOMO gear nob, premium sound Ect...... the reason dad got mercury silver was because it was the only manual pursuit that he could get before the end of finacial year he/we wanted either lighning strike, citric acid or black but we ended up with the above Luckily it had all the options he wanted

Don't know about the 24H, would be much better under new control, maybe avesco will take over and have it as a non-championship event for the V8's makesence teams would be able to gather heaps of data for the next years 1000 the only trade off would be all the lower class cars in the way but I cannot imagine to many v8 supercar teams wanting to miss out on 24 hours of data gathering? Was at a party on saterday night and had a good chat to a bloke with a blueprint XR6T ute, best ute in town should be a member on here when he gets on his computer, anyway its lowerd, 3" zorst, blow off valve, big intercooler, big air intake and is ordering a new computer today and not this piggyback stuff everyone else is using a whole new computer work is being done by a local turbo company his ute will be in australin ute mag this month. cannot belive how much time he had for me considering how im only 15 probally would have taken me for a drive but his ute was at home.

Got 18" furys on the XR8 look fantastic in the Shadow Chrome against Blood Orange

If you look in the back of the magazine you will see 1/4 times for the utes allready and these must be the auto times because the times have never been there before unfortunitly the SS wins over XR6T over XR8 in a strait line anyway. I think motor made a little mistake printing them early, I would love to see me prooved wronge,this doesn't really explane the SS ute the T beat the other day

In Motor they said the XR8 felt fasted but had low tread rears after Bang For Your Bucks would be interisting to see times with new tread. Would this effect the time that much ??? Also parents XR8 has hit 12,600K's still not one problem and no sighns of one
