Im sure it would be such a terrible job to take the F6 and evan the HSV to Calder and flog them to near death on the Drag strip and racetrack, jeez I can really see why they don't spend much time there...

Not really a fair drag one is stock and one should be capable of a low 13 at least.

About 15 months ago I followed an XR8 traffic car in Canberra for a bit. I was surprised to see Herrod badging on the boot. No idea what mods it was running. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think Canberra might be an exception to the rule.. I have heard they have an XR6 Turbo with a phase 3 kit on it.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good luck getting away from that...

Not a F6 or XR6T but the old mans Pursuit has killed many LS1's none have been modified from what he's been able to see but SS's are an Easy Kill for the grey Ghost as the old man calls it... Havn't had the chance to play with an XR6T or HSV yet but cannot wait for the chance...

I don't think you quite have your facts correct, I got my F6 on runout with Leather, sunroof, mats, tint for under 54K drive away. So if you take the 6K of extra's off the car your at 48K, and then with my setup I don't finace the gst or stamp duty & on road costs that's another 7K, so for 41K how can you beat that ?? sounds like the price of a non turbo XR6 to me..... I cannot understand this comparison, the M5 is a great car, the F6 is also an awesome car but with a price difference of $160,000 you cannot have a fair comparison there is the never ending list of things you could do to the F6 with the spare 160,000 that would blow away the M5, but I bet if you gave me a F6 with the money difference between that and a Ferari Enzo I could get it close to that aswell... Both great cars, both differn't markets, but on a head on comparo the F6 kicks it's Butt, as has been mentioned before, a F6 with $15,000 spent on it would hose an M5 and you have alot of spare change over the M5. How about we get DallasQld to line up a Modded F6 that is in his state at willowbank or the middle of nowhere for all I care and see who wins, evan still if I had a F6 that stayed within 2-3 car lengths of an M5 I would feel like the winner knowing I had spent 150+ grand less
