it's a good week ford got 1,2,3 at the creek in the supercar's and dad has decided to trade his 2 au xl series 2 ute's (employe left that was ment to drive the 2nd car) for a XR6T ute he test drove one today and is going to buy the demo it's only got 3000 kay's so it's like new. it's black with grey and black cloth interia, premium sound, 5 speed manual and 17 inch wheel's he should pick it up on friday if finance go's through and were 99.9% sure it will .so I finally got one dad didn't evan go and look at a new SS ute :lol: and he's a Expensive Daewoo man and a V8 man the only reason he didn't get the XR8 is because it cost's more and dad's already adicted to the turbo kicking in after 2000rpm.

A six speed manual XR6 TURBO that would help convince dad

ive got some good new's my cousin's boy friend is buying either a xr6 T or a xr8 mid-late this year. it will be mercury silver 5 manual sports bar's and some other option's and as for my parent's im still working on them just excited to find out there will be at least 1 xr in the family and he's probebly getting the T because it's cheaper which mean's he can get it sooner :o .

IVe got 3 ba sedan's in my town as cop cars just base xt's though a mate claims he saw a xr8 cop car last term (late) ive not seen it though. a xr6 turbo taxi well if you have to get there fast wonder if he chage's a higher rate. there used to be a 5liter vs taxi in melbourne saw it last holidays anyway if you see a cop xr6 na it's probely a T with the badges striped

Power decreace won't happen but the 5 speed auto is meant to be a definate in the magazines 6 speed that you were talking about manual/auto ?

Make the car look heap's cooler and stick out from the crowd not that it need's a GT wing to do that CFJ077 the new ba XR'S are the best looking thing on the road by far. VX HSV'S used to own that title but the VY HSV won't earn them that award.

Rim's look a little bit small in the pic's though how big do they look in the drive

You could put a T-series wing on a au xr8 so you could probably get a GT wing an a XR6-8

Geoff has already got the BA to out sell the VY in march I think it was in the back of wheels magazine including ute's as well as sedans the ford out sold the Expensive Daewoo for the first time in four years I think well done geoff the BA is a born winner you can all ready see that the BA is so much more competitive in the supercars so hopefully the ba can end this Expensive Daewoo run at bathurst.

As far as I know you can't buy a fairmont in turbo form maybe in the future like BA series 3 they might bring out a more dosile version of the turbo engine like 230kw but the XR6 turbo should be up to about 260-270kw before that happens. maybe your mate saw some tosser that put a turbo badge on his fairmont or it might have been a special order from the factory that cost a fortune.

I'm pleased to inform all my fellow ford fans that the is at least 250 vy commodore's sitting at my local Expensive Daewoo dealer no joke and no exadgeration but at the local ford there would be a maximum of 50-65 ba in stock and about 4-5 are turbo's and 2 xr8's compared to about 35-40 VY SS 50-60 VY S they have over ordered something shocking and they have about 5-10 clubsports they just can't sell them I guess it's simple people just don't wan't to buy a ugly car

I thourt that the metal ford used since the au was rust proof that's what my pop told me when the au came out although our au ute had a little bit of surface rust under the rubber seal between the tub and the tailgate it's still there but it hasen't got any worce

I know this may sound stupid but how are the T's selling where you live. I know from this site that the waiting list's are huge but were I live the turbo isn't selling as good as in alot of other places. The vy ss would have to be selling at least 3-1 over the turbo, evan though the turbo is catching up pretty fast the number of ss still dominates the streets I think there is about 15 ss comodores to about 6 turbo's it's sh!t I go to the shops and I have to look at this VY cr@p al over the streets how ar the turbo's selling compared with it's SS opposition I know at the major Expensive Daewoo dearler ship near buy they have at least 25-30 ss sedans just sitting there but at the closest local ford dearler the would only have about 3 xr6 turbo's left in stock so they are obvioulasly catching up fast and as for the hsv's it take them nearly 2 WEEKS to clear

Nice to hear a very cool story of a XR6 TURBO out in front of a Expensive Daewoo espesially a SS of any kind.
