Well I got my parents to buy another XR :D and this time it's the eight it might have been the T six if delivery time wasn't at september any way it's a Blood Orange XR8, leather Mmmm, Manual, 18's and dark tint. It is absolutely Awesome and that 5.4L V8 sounds absolutly Beautyful the inside in the sedan is very nice as well. The other XR8's they had were Phantom, Harvest Green, Acid Rush and Black all were manual except Black and the Harvest look better in the showroom then in the Pic's it's actuly not that bad.

The only one there I don't like is phantom with orange stripes besides that No.1 white 2 Blood orange 3 Black 4 Blueprint that cobra thing I have loved since I was 4-5 years old. Also well done mondie awsome color blood orange is I have word that mum and dad will pick up a Blood orange XR8, manual, Leather, 18 inch Wheels but standard sound :( (it's a demo model) later this week or early next week. I am very happy

I had another talk today she like's the T the most out of all the cars she has been looking at if she does decide to buy it will be in 3.5-4.5 months untill we order :( . Also mondie I talked to her about your T for sale but she want's a new car and a dark color car will be to hard to keep clean, dad got black because he is not adventureous and thinks black is the best but it isn't when you live 60 meters up a dirt road

As I sat at the table yesterday my parent's broke the news that they had been looking at car's that afternoon, there journey took them to the local ford and Expensive Daewoo dealer here is how it went holden: new vectra to expensive :D (55 big ones for cdxi) clubsport engine troble risk to big and mum thinks is butt ugly litraly :lol: on the ford side of the fence XR6 Turbo big possibility XR8 mum likes but after seeing all the awards that the T has won she cannot see the point of spending he extra dosh. GT she loves but is out of the dollers range for us :tears: also the focos is a posibility but I just about talked her into the T last night with dad's help, the one she will order if she decides to go ahed will be a Acid Rush Yellow XR6 T manual, cloth interia and premium sound. Another XR6 T to go next to the ute MMMMMMMMMM..........

I think that the one's in the second pic look the best by far especially in 20inch MMMMMM..... also ROH FURY look really good on ba xr's I have seen two one in a pic on with my own eyes they look fantastic but I think they only come in 19's it's not like they would be what you would call small anyway espesally if you lower the T. What color ????????????

I would like to say a very big thanks to you chris for founding the web site. without you and the other members on this site I wouldn't have been able to have info of such a awesome car and without that I wouldn't have been able to swing dad :( admitadly the test drive did most of the work but it was getting him there. at the moment We are trying to con mum that's right WE me and the former Expensive Daewoo man are trying to con mum into the seat of a T the choice to her is either a manual 64-69 mustang or a manual acid rush or phantom xr6 T im pushing very hard for a T but which ever way she go's in 4 months is up to her..........GO THE T and make it two in the driveway

HSE2 look at the numbers in the pic the one on the right is the new color the one one the left is naroma blue I think that's it's name anyway. "SHOCKWAVE" is a awesome name but the color doesn't have the same punch as blueprint why wouldn't they get rid the slow selling color naroma blue and keep blueprint I know the will regret getting rid of blueprint. That's like a fish and chip shop stop selling chips with chicken salt because everyone likes them it just wouldn't be fair. :(

Blueprint I belive it's been around for a while now but mondie is right the will have to make a better color not a worse one and as for blood orange it is selling very well for such a in your face color I doubt they would drop that over citric acid, not picking because I like citric and it is a nice color to me but it doesn't sell that well I have only seen two citric XR's and I have all ready seen at least 7 blood orange ones.

I agree with you stephan(fords forever) I think it looks nice I loved congo and will miss it very much the one and only ba xr I have seen in congo was sa tickfords and it was awesome, best looking ba xr I have ever seen. congo I loved harvest I like it shall grow on us all

Thanks turbo dave he's taking it over as soon as he get's some spare time because he's a tradesman(pestcontroler and a lucky one at that) he doesn't get much spare time.

Dad would have brought either a ba xr6 ute or a v8 ba xl ute not interested in anything else but ford ute's funny enough his a " Expensive Daewoo man " well he reacons so and well he didn't evan take the SS for a drive or evan consider it also the other day he was sledgeing mum's V8 statesman calling it a slug now he wants a xr6 turbo sedan but mum isn't giveing in :( for now anyway. he's a conveted man he's evan admited it :)

love my dads ute best one weve ever had no mod's planed at the moment but maybe a exhaust later saveing for sports bars at the moment is the coolant a big prob dad's has been leaking for a while now not much but enough to be concerned about besides that no prob's and have you notaced everyone looking at you evan owners of top model holdens, SS, maloo, maloo r8, ect... guess they wish they had one . see you later guys

saterday was dad's birthday so I brought him a manual MOMO gear nob. We just go home from adelade an imediatly went to try fit it as the salesman instructed me to and we couldn't get the standard one off any of you fella's know how to put it on?????? if we cannot work it out tonight he will take it to ford tommorow. PLEASE HELP THE FIT MOMO FOUNDATION help a little momo have a better life

Hi craig don't worry about the shift dad got his ute with 3000km on the clock(demo model) and the shift wasn't nearly as stiff as a brand new on now it has 6500km and it isn't stiff at all really

I still love the stripes and after seeing a blood orange gt with stripes at the dealer in traralgon I must say I love this color with stripes the photo's just don't do justice they look awesome B) and about the wheels I think the stock on this color look better than the ones in the photo also what color did you end up opting for Mondie and did you go stripes ??????

love the twin systom still love the stripes I guess it is up to the person I love that car I wish I lived closer so I could visit it.

I keep my local newsagent alive I buy WHEELS, MOTOR, STREET MACHINE, PERFORMANCE FORD, AUSTRALIAN UTE and occationaly fast fours and hot 4's soon to start buying ZOOM because of there project car.

I have to say I didn't like the rims at first but they have grown on me and I love them now I also really like the rear wing it's HERRODS version of the BI-PLANE spoiler that ford offerd in the series 1 au I would also like to see how much power you can get out of the exaust so I can tempt dad into the exaust and maybe evan the rim's at the same time the lowerd suspention would be nice but not practical for dad

A gt-ho well get this my parent's are good friend's with the owner of the local dealership and he told mum not to buy or evan think about buying a white mustang because next year "FORD" will be bringing out a coupe and sayed the prototype has already been made so from what I know the " NEW GT-HO " will be two door and 350kw this car is building up to be something special.

I'll say it strait "That is the best looking car I have ever seen" and it's in a picture I only dreem of seeing such a awesome car with my own eye's I probebly think it awesome because it's blood orange, racing stripes, sweet aftermarket rims and I'm going to stop there before I start drooling on the screen OOP'S to late.

in dad's ute the heavyest thing that get's played thorough the premium sound is skyhooks sorry but they are just not my sort of thing if I had the ute it would be filled with tunes by AC/DC, Metallica, lincon park, nickel back and the new order cd that features slojam that song is fantastic and 1 cd space left spare for what ever I felt like listening to at the time see you guys later

after hearing about the clunking in shifts and a very slow and hard 2nd to 3rd from you guy's I asked dad how he find's the manual in the ute he said it's fine and it does'nt have a clunk or a slow 2nd to 3rd in his opinion which makes me ask the question does the XR6T ute have the XR8 manual what do you guy's think?????

sorry boy's hate to be a bummer but im going to have to cancel coming something has come up and me and dad cannot come this time maybe next time though. :(

also does anyone use the ba xr6T or a ba xr6 as a tradesmans ute if so any complantes or conserns how is yours going?.

it's going to be parked in the driveway friday after 4 o clock im so exited so is dad he cannot wait and im not sure if we will be in the ute or statsman yet if mum dad and me go then we will be in the stato but if only me and mum or me and dad go then we will be in the ute:) so now I have to con only one of them into coming.
