At the Expensive Daewoo V ford show me, dad and mum aproached the area carryboy had with some considerable interest dad wants one so he decided to get one I will post some pic's as soon as it is done (3 weeks) and have access to a digital camera all of you ute owners shoul serously consider this insted of the ford optional one it is not nearly the quality and I know that the carryboy is more expensive but it looks so very cool and is not flimsy at all if anyone has pic's of there ute with one on it I would be interisted to see them

Any power change by the way phantom looks cooler and so does blueprint two new Expensive Daewoo wanna-be colors.

well done ploky congrads my parents were looking at the 2002 mustang beford they brought the XR8 and the ute they are a awesome looking car and they sound sweat as a xr8 aswell reason mum and dad didn't get one is because the one @ the dealer was white manual but it was white and that is a big no no in her books. hope to see some pic's of the stang on the website soon with a lowerd suspention, exaust and BLOWER if she were mine she would also cop big rims 19inch and a full SVT body kit from the states :o top stuff plonky

I was wondering if me and mum do get a ford hard top cover for dad what the hell do we fill the holes in the side of the tub with that used to have the tonnue tie downs in them from the factory they have littke color coded plugs can you buy them any one ??

Well I can agree that the note of the 8 is to die for and that both fly but I would personally go for the V8 it as said above sounds great, look's cool with the buldgeb and isn't that heavy on fuel if you keep it below 2200RPM around town mum get's really good economy for such a big V8 Mmmmm also dad's ute sounds great for a six mum and dad day that the 8 has a much harder clutch setup than the six but I guess it is up to you and the handleing sacrifice isn't that bad boy's go to the local ford dealer and test the XR6 and XR8 it doesn't matter if the 6 is a T or not because you will be testing the handing they are both awesome so have fun chooseing but it's a T or the 8 no gutless natrally aspired thing

In the should the gt-p have more Killerwatts than gt than think about what they are truly competeing with and you will relise that they are competeing against the Clubsport and Clubsport R8 and the only differnce between them is seats, rims, brakes and more standard features and then now you will realise that the difference between GT and GT-P is exactly the same as the difference between Clubsport and R8 but I do agree that gt-p should be at about 300kw so for $10,000 big ones extra you buy some bragging rights also I agree that a new GT-HO should come out with 400kw under the hood I know that it sounds like alot but what ford don't want is for a 6 months after relising a 350kw HO that Expensive Daewoo brings out a 350kw GTS and then ho would not be as cool bring out a HO with 400kw a cool groung hugging body kit and a True V8 supercar inspired wing and that will be something thad guys would trade a ferrai in for FULLY SIK MATE

I was wondering if any of you guy's are going to the ford V Expensive Daewoo show on the 9-10th of augest in the melbourne exibition center on southbank it will be pretty sweethorsepower shootout and heaps of ford and holdens best form the olden day's of the Phase 3 to the new age of the BA GT so anyone going?????

My parents XR8 MANual let me high light thet MAN in manual for you would be there in a flash if we didn't live around 2 1/2 hours away and I didn't have to be at work the next day at 8.00 any only jokeing about the manual V auto thing just blow off some of those oil burning GEN 3's for me and do us all proud

The prob can be and has been fixed already by FoMoCo australia the car being produced now are not haveing this problem and the cars that do have the problem will have new rings at the dealer I guess???? any way the only boss to have the problem is the Boss 290 which means the problem is no where near the size as holden's dodgy GEN 3 because ford manufactur the part here and assemble the motors in broadmedows the prob can be fixed amediatly unlike holders crate motor from canada

I was reading some of last months car guides yesterday and discovered a artical saying that XR6,XR6T,XR8 sales are up around 300% and for the first time since they have been brought out the are out selling S,S supercharged,Sv8 and SS :D so no wonder they are so far behind with orders on XR's the probabley didn't expect a 300%increase in sales with a XR6T to your spec out to around september october and XR8's out to about a 2 month wait I would say they couldn't be happyer .

Sounds like your dealer sucks :( anything we complane about is fixed at the first date that suit's......US we had 2 big stone chips on the bonnet so we went to buy touch up paint, the salesman saw it and didn't evan ask if they were the when we brought the car as a demo and got the bonnet fully re-sprayed and got the BOSS 260 sighn wrighting re done on the two sides of the buldge now we cannot complane for service. my parent's are extreamly happy customers :spacecraft: both Expensive Daewoo and ford have dodgy dealers and that is a shame .

God damn it I loved that car :( :tears: well I guess it was just a cool dig at holden. Made out of wood? it looked more like clay to me but hey charliewool you seem to know your stuff so I will trust tour judgement :D

After falling in love with the maloominator at the fpv open day I was waiting to here some update news on it in magizines but I have heard nothing , was it built for the day or what it looked like a million dollers.

Well I have met my quoater for this month because they are about 99.9% sure they are going to join the XR and FPV owners club of vic. I will go and try and reach next months quoater it will be harder than I thought but if the join the club I think you get a discount on Herrod item's Hmmmm maybe a exaust and a chip then I shall go to work see you guy's later

At the moment I am working to get mum and dad into buying a aftermarket exaust for the XR8 and being a reader of Performance Ford Magazine I read about all the EF, EL and AU XR owners who have done them up a little and always use Herrods and Herrods exaust has a 20kw@wheels (30kw@Flywheel) Power increace :D I think. so I was interisted to does anywone know the PRICE????? because dad won't call any one god damn him
