im not getting him to tune it just for the dyno to check power because im getting it for pritty cheap. He did tell me he dosnt really do much with the falcons. Any way I got the tuner to put in new tunes. Its raining so havnt had a chance to give it too much but so far its alot smoother. Started nearling stalling when stopping at the lights, so I cleaned my throttle body out and its much better now. Any one else's throttle body get all cloged up and stuff up the idle? Any way im going to try and get another dyno run tomorrow after work. will post the results

I work for an IT engeneering company in west perth

I was told it was running lean the whole way through the rev range. Also the boost droped to 6psi mid range then picked up again. Shes booked in for a service on saturday so ill get filters and that checked. Its last 4 tanks have bee BP Ultimate so I dont think fuel is the problem Air filter is only a few months old and so are the spark plugs. Plugs were also gaped to .8 last week

Im thinking of getting tim to tune my car after I buy some injectors and a new cooler. Might even get new piping made up

The way I see it. If you dont like it dont do it to your car. People are different and like different things. Every one hated my gauge install but I think its better that the silly pods with tiny gauges in it. Dosn't bother me the fact that I like it keeps me happy

I found the capa 8psi tune really bad. I must have been using an older version

I got the dyno done at west racing. Tim certainly knows his stuff. Tim wasnt the one who gave me the tunes. Cost me $50 for th dyno run and we had a good chat. He wants me to go back to the tuner and get the tunes sorted. and he'll put my car on the dyno again for free

Only other mod is rear mufflers removed, Plugs gapped to .8 and better thermostat

that's what I wanted to do but was told there is no point until I get more mods. what anoys me is I was told this would run good miitures and have more power than the generic capa tunes Its a 5 speed manual

I recently got my flash tuner and I wasnt too impressed with the generic capa tunes. So I got some generics from another company put in and it felt alot better here is my graph The guy who did the dyno said the generic capa 10psi tunes he has dont have all done around 320hp. My car is also running lean, when I was told this tune would run good mixtures. Also the guy said the mid range is lacking alot of power. Any ideas?

Wouldnt be too hard for me to get the fiber glass out and hide the so called uglies

Exact reason I decided to go with this setup. Didnt like the smaller gauges

well every one is entitle to there opinion. to be honest I really like it. doing it this way allows for the larger gauge. I plan on adding an afr and oil temp gauge to it. and no I dont plan on getting the monster taco. I dont have sh*t loads of cash laying around so I just do what I can afford. I didnt see the point in getting the gauge pod and hide every thing in there. Cable ties do look like sh*t though. But they will do until I get something else.

how do you pop the switch out?

if I grow to hate it will will buy the propper pod for it. But I like it atm

I've decided to put a 4 speed auto in my car as it hopefully will end up alot cheaper than upgrading to the 6 speed manual. Anyone done this before? DO you know what parts I need to buy?

Im leaning towards the cooler+ Tune option. Im not wanting huge power untill I change the gearbox 260 -270rwkw would be good
