I still rather the sedan suspension. it was a big selling point for the BA/BF, that and everything else. and it was a pity that they didn't get it to fit the utes... but on the downside, IRS can be weak as sh*t, the more tech you cram into something, the more things that will eventually go wrong. they are nowhere near as bulletproof as some live axles on the market (or some old ones you can scrounge up). but hey, its nice when you can throw a big family sedan into a sweeping left or right hander and punch it without so much as a second thought...

I got 19s, and still have the stock springs... lowering it straight away isn't high on my priority list... with the lowering though, I've been told by Pedders and Fulcrum suspension places that it'd cost me upwards of $1000.00 to lower the beast because I need the camber kit, and they need special tools to lower the BA's and BF's (apparently the normal spring tensioners don't fit) I said it was a load of hot cock, went back to Ford, and said 'if I supply the parts, how much for the labour?" they told me somewhere in the vicinity of $600 or so... (they have the tools and do it all the time) that's without the camber kit mind you. but one of my mates dropped his BA on its guts without the camber kit and said that he doesn't have abnormal tyre wear patterns like they would have you believe...

I just put a Turbosmart Kompact on mine. it fits straight into the old hoses. not too much dicking around. paid something like $350 for it... its f..king loud if your gunning it though... but it lets retards know not to try and drag you...

don't waste your time with those ebay pieces of shiet. I bought myself a PW stage 1 cooler (the boss told me there's no huge difference between the stage 1 and 2... but a bit of oooh shiny factor) and had it tuned to 265rwkw @10psi, no injector mods, just a F6 intake, and twin 2.5" cat back exhaust. its not worth the time and heartache, my car runs cooler now too, which is good seeing as I live in Townsville. plus getting the front bar off is a bitch... so shell out the cash, and do it right the first time.
