  1. interesting comments. next to my BF F6 the Z is faster to around 80-85km/h every single time off the line. The Z is - Over 300kgs lighter than the F6 275s on the rears compared to 245s on the F6. Higher compression NA motor that kicks in quickly compared to the doughy launch of the F6 Where the F6 nails it is in rolling when already moving say at 60kms or 80kms then planting it on boost, but off the line, the Z is quicker. WHo knows maybe I havent learnt how to launch an auto F6 properly in 5 years. lol
  2. 350z = 3.5litre 370z = 3.7litre slightly bigger engine, more power better torque curve. I have my eye on the GTM supercharger kit that is getting rave reviews in the US. The power delivery is very linear, similar to how the car drives stock but with more grunt. Although the twin turbo kits probably extra more power, im trying to avoid another on/off turbo car where there is nothing then BAM.
  3. F6 will be replaced with an G6E (no turbo) as an operated lease for the daily driver to work and shops, and I have bought a 370Z as my weekend toy which I plan to supercharge
  4. Its a BF1, no the inserts arn't silver like the BF2, they are colour coded like the car
  5. Not been on here for a while, lease has finished on the F6 and its going. 5 years and 120,000 later I'm moving on, it wont be in another FPV this time round, maybe down the track. PS. Will look to sell the plates so will probably post in classifieds if anyone is interested in NSW
  6. same experience with my F6, Ford totally suffed up rotation and couldnt get the balance right. heasmans took 2 hours and got it right. they pay attention to detail.
  7. http://www.heasmans.com.au/ Been around for 50+ years, have used them many times over the years.
  8. I use the robco one on the F6 for long trips on the highway only. It is great. No need to worry about removing all those bug splats from the front of the car and hard to get places like the intercooler. takes 10mins to put on, and its just as quick to remove and clean. For highway use its great against stone chips as well.
  9. Sorry to drag this up. Is there a TSB or fix for the squeeling brakes ? I have the 6 pots up front and the squeel started at around 13,000km. Was given the usual line that its normal.
  10. just checked fpv configurator. Colour is called Breeze. looks like another blue variation.
  11. Don't forget the Power Pedal Adjustment option for the automatic. It's $350. Primary function is safety, it is intended to keep drivers positioned as far away as possible from the steering wheel and airbag. The system may also report to the airbag computer, although this is yet to be confirmed. The power pedals are a handy feature if people of different size or proportion use the vehicle, the gf will appreciate this. I was annoyed I missed this option. It is not listed in the specifications guide on the FPV site. (The pdf guide) On the configurator, its not listed as an option if you choose Australia. However, if you choose NZ, its there !
  12. I optioned the leather. Looks and feels nice. With climate control I dont see what the issue is with the warmer weather. Did the same with the steering wheel. nicer grip than the standard one.
  13. that looks awesome. hey, can you do that pic in Dejavu. that's the colour I have ordered but have not been able to find any typhoon photos in this colour.
