  1. Haha I dunno, can you take them down and I'll re upload please?
  2. Getting there slowly... *mod note* pics removed as they got corrupted.
  3. Pumps been modified, new turbo 400 stator tube pressed in, billet gears and PTFE bush. Parts from Summit showed up so it's ready to bolt together as soon as the bellhousing rocks up.
  4. Do you have a boost gauge? What boost is it hitting in 1st and 2nd? The vehicle is under more load and can produce more boost under more load.
  5. Camo is correct, removing exhaust restrictions will allow the turbo to boost easier and hit boost cut. It's needs a tune, the factory ECU can't adjust for mods and the ba engines are fragile. Actuator and solenoid are the other problems that can cause those symptoms without the exhaust modification. The ECU uses 2 MAP sensors, one in the intercooler piping under the battery and one in the manifold. Injectors are easy enough to replace, but you can't change them for bigger ones without a tune.
  6. Got more parts today, nearly ready to start assembling the box. Still waiting for the bellhousing though and pump gears and billet servo should be here from the states this week hopefully. Got a Reid roller bearing extension housing, Sonnax billet roller bearing governor support, 3 inch deep transmission pan, TCI Kevlar extra wide bands and Sonnax Extreme input shaft. And Sonnax 10 clutch high drum
  7. Had a crack at fitting the shifter today, made some mounting brackets out of some 3mm thick aluminum right angle plate. Had to play around a little with the height to get the shifter to sit where I wanted it too. Came up alright I reckon. Used the 6 speed surround and modified it to fit snug and even got the boot on it too.
  8. Yep done the 360 degree thrust bearing [emoji106] Cars been in the shed with no engine for 2 months already and most I've done is the main bearings and electric power steering haha been too lazy and now it's getting too hot
  9. Yep, do it right the first time and build it stronger than required saves lots of headaches and money down the track. All these parts are rated to 1500hp+ so shouldn't have to worry about it again
  10. More parts arrived today, waiting for some stuff to come from the USA so not sure how long that will take, then can get the box built. TCE will be making a custom torque converter to suit. Probably won't have the box ready for another 3 or 4 months depending on the transmission builder and how lazy I am getting the car modified and everything fitted.
  11. Slowly getting parts organised to convert over to a 2 speed Powerglide [emoji4]
  12. VPW and Rocket industries are the closest we have to those two.
  13. Got my hands on a powerglide. Started stripping it today. Seems to be in good condition, not that many of the original parts are staying. Sending the case off the get cleaned. Will reassemble it after Christmas and get it ready for the falcon.
  14. Well pump is out of the way for when I go high mount turbo, no leaking fluids on alternator, engine looks cleaner and less parasitic loss on engine but it won't even be noticeable probably haha. I like fabricating things so thought I'd try it. Yes engine bay is dirty haha
  15. Set up electric power steering pump today, new hydraulic line to the rack and made a wiring harness for it.
  16. Send me a pm with your email address and I might be able to get you the wiring diagram tomorrow. As for the vct, I'm pretty sure there is a setting to disable vct in hp tuners, but I don't have my tablet with me so I'll check later.
  17. It's been fine, was really good when superpro made me a new bush to suit it a few months ago, but you're correct. So changing it to IMS diff hat, rebuilding the old diff with a truetrac and starting to get parts together for a powerglide to be put in. So engine is getting some love while it's off the road.
  18. No, bushes are done and there's no way id break the diff bolt, it's 20mm od bolt, not standard. Broken diff mount before but this is custom. You can move the pinion flange around, not the diff housing. That's the hat I put on a few years ago. Got superpro to make me a custom bush. Diff was fine the started whining after a trip, now it goes bang haha
  19. So broke the diff a few days ago, possibly bearings or something but the pinion flange moves up and down and I get a loud bang when slowing down or accelerating hard. So got another diff and went to order the IMS diff hat but they're out of stock... So engine is coming out. Got another sump modified and ready to put in and probably do arp head studs.
  20. Yep same. MW is basic, no fancy sh*t. Can only level up to level 20 so far in the Beta and they've only got a couple of maps but seems the goods.
  21. The new COD modern warfare is pretty good, been playing the Beta. Heaps better than the previous ones. Feels similar to Black Ops 2, no stupid abilities or fancy skins. Just gun fights like they used to be.
  22. I thought they had issues with it coming off the turbo exhaust housing?
  23. Please don't do it. It isn't worth the time and money. You'll have issues further down the track, the motor won't like it for an extended period of time either... Just wait and buy a T
