  1. Cheers! I had the territory upgrades but they won't fit with these wheels so I'm going back to standard ba/bf solid rear brakes.
  2. More parts today haha 50mm aluminium radiator from Fenix and some Kegs SSR billet wheels
  3. Mmmm 9 inch. If only someone made one for the falcon
  4. Haha well it will be off the road for awhile now, I spent all my money on getting the EA on the road. We are rebuilding the diff, just not sure if I want to do the IMS diff hat or stick to the reinforced diff hat I've got. What do you think?
  5. Na haven't worried about it yet, been upgrading the drivetrain. Wasn't expecting to upgrade the diff yet but I have no choice now.
  6. Thanks man, we'll see what happens. Won't be any time soon. Just tried to fit the tailshaft and it's too long by 5mm, but I think my diff is sitting too far forward.. Going to drop the cradle and get the diff rebuilt, maybe the IMS diff hat too.
  7. I'm going to try and push as hard as possible on 98 first. E85 isn't available here, still looking at water injection. Debating on camshafts. Really need to do the diff before I go pushing for too much power.
  8. Tailshaft arrived today, just waiting for a new radiator and should be able to start putting it all back together. Hoping to go to Tailem bend for roll racing in the next month or so.
  9. Yeah it's nice to just hop in and drive it. Runs pretty well considering it's been sitting for about 4-5years. Only thing is parts are getting hard to get for it, even through work [emoji3525]
  10. One turbo falcon is enough for now haha never know, it may be worth something one day if I leave it all original...
  11. Haven't tried to yet haha it just nice to take it for a drive and not have to worry about what it's going to do or have the urge to give it a flogging haha
  12. Yeah she's not bad. Paint is pretty bad but mechanically it's pretty good. Interior is clean and tidy, everything works. It was on gas so I've pulled it all out. Replaced distributor, coil, plugs, leads, most sensors, front and rear sway bar link bushes and D bushes, upper rear trailing arm bushes, front wheel bearings and pads and rotors, new exhaust and front indicators. Cost me $900 for the car and maybe $1500 to get it on the road. Done everything myself.
  13. 12/88 series 1 EA S pack, 3.9MPFI with the Borg Warner 3 speed auto [emoji4]
  14. So the old EA is on the road and registered, now I don't have to rush building the turbo falcon now. Pulled my tailshaft out yesterday and waiting on my new single piece from GJ drivelines. Hopefully that's here next week.
  15. If you can run an idler where the AC pulley used to be, that would make life easier. Nuline make a AC delete pulley and bracket. Some Barra motors had it factory by memory.
  16. So should be on the road to more power in the next few months. New turbo got here today, so will take the car off the road once the EA is registered and start pulling it apart. Getting the manifold ceramic coated to stop some heat so was thinking about fitting some camshafts at the same time, but will see how things go. Turbo is a Boosted 6762 with 1.15 rear housing. Thought I'd give it a try and see how it goes, it's rated to 1000hp so be interesting to see what it does.
  17. Mine does this when it's cold. Have you tried letting it idle to warm up and then press on the accelerator? I think it's something to do with the TPS sensor but I don't drive mine enough to worry about.
  18. What sound are you referring too? The diesel engine rattle?
  19. If you're going to build it, na one should be fine but unmodified it won't handle a great deal of power. Been there done that.
  20. The ZF is different between NA, turbo and V8. V8 has a different bellhousing so can't use that, turbo has more clutch packs than the na ones. ZF can be built but can be costly, th400 or powerglide can be a good option but can be just as much as getting a ZF built. As far as I know, the column shift only suits the 4 speed BTR transmission. NA engine can be used to build an engine
  21. Why not get some fg coil plugs and put them on the BA harness? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/303801952353 You'll just have to get the tune modified to suit the coils but I'd assume you will be modifying the tune anyway.
  22. Well today didn't go to plan... Put it on the hoist this morning, had to tighten a few exhaust bolts. Found that the sump is leaking again.. but everything else seems ok. Kept blowing intercooler piping off on the dyno. Finally got a few solid runs in and the dyno reinforced the fact my turbo is too small. But oh well, still did pretty well. 385rwkw and 1275nm of torque
  23. Motor is built but still has the NA head but with crow valve springs
