I second the rockwool, its not cheap, its not good for the lungs, real f*cking itchy, but soundproofs a treat. I think its flame retardent aswell, so use in a dyno cell would be good.

I would probally still go with the 26, like leigh said the 28's are pretty big.

Your car looks pretty low in your pic so I would go a 26.

I just got a aftermarket transmission pan installed on my auto today which should cool the transmission fluid more and strengthen the case up a bit. It even has a drain plug! It takes the standard gasket and filter.
