I'd have to agree I'm looking at getting either one for a family car and cars that I tested gt had more kms though but f6 felt quicker and smoother but as a heap have said with a simple tune the gt is a beast so it really is a tough choice ATM

Ohh lastly took the preggars mrs with me for both test drive and she preferred the f6 haha lastly I'm surprised there wasn't a lot of legroom in rear seat for passengers I'm sure the old bf have decent legroom??

Cheers for info and comments lads.. So after test driving both a gt auto 40000kms and f6 auto 25000 kms I'm steering towards the f6 ATM. Yous prolly disagree but the f6 felt the better car obviously both were standard and I'm sure if both had a simple tune the gt would probably be a beast!!! To the Gt credit it did have higher kms and something didn't seem right so will keep looking around still have a few months up my sleeve till I need to buy... Be good to go for a spin in a tuned,exhaust gt and I pretty well know how well a inter cooler,inj tune f6 will be... Heading to motorvation Friday so hopefully there is a couple of examples there to check out Thanks again

Haha well cheers for info hAve had two v8s also and agree the sounds is orgasmic!! Guess I'll have to go test drive a few and decide from there... Insurances for each I'm guessing roughly the same ??? And the s/c v8 with exhaust and tune good for decent amount of kms reliably??

Haha geez thanks I didn't even notice that with gt ... Yeah I'm keen on f6 they are a tried and tested motor!!! Have there been many problems/ factory faults with the new s/c 5 ltr?? Def want the newer gt if do go for the 8

hey mate..I have a bf2 ute with just custom tune/cai . I give it a hard time and it uses 13/14 arond town,Hwy under 10 if taking it easy!! recommend custom tune soon mate

hey just got new 19z for the ute,just wondering how much to lower her??still want to drive it with sometimes with a load with lil to no scrapes. tyres are 245f 265r

hey guys I have a bf s2 xr6t ute only 12oookms got exactly the same prob. It started about 3 mths ago been to slack to take it in. I can make it loudish depending on how I drive can get the noise under braking from say 15km to 0km.

thanx to all who replied 20z on your car looks sweet I wonder how ill go with the ute rear though..I guess just ask the mag dealer!! im in adelaide but would rather sell the tyres n mags as a whole,less work ask $600 4 them with 1 tyre being punctured of course!! cheers

hi all just recently purchased xr6t ute(few MODS)..being a Expensive Daewoo man at heart I can now proudly say im a ford convert!! neways havin the stock 18s I went over a local train line and recieved a puncture..time to upgrade,so was wonderin whether 19/20z fit w'out many probz?? oohh my 18z r now for sale!!
