  1. Cheers guys ?? Much appreciated ?
  2. Hey guys, just looking for a bit of advice. At the moment I've got a standard unmodified BF F6 Typhoon. It's got 140000 on the clock. I'm looking to start doing some mods to it. I'm not really into burnouts so want the power to be useable and not dry the rear tyres. Love that pushed back in the seat feeling. I'm just looking to see what direction to go in as I've been told that once the car's putting out 270rwkw if I was to put much more into it it wouldn't really be noticeable, is that the case ? Also looking for advice if the best places to take it to in WA. I was thinking either West Racing or BPT Motorsport. Has anybody used any of these places and what did you reckon of them ? Also any advice on what mods to get done would be awesome ?? Cheers guys
  3. Hey guys, Just looking for a bit of advice. My standard 06 BF Typhoon has been making some amount of noise while under load. Particularly around 2500 rpm. I took it to ford and they've said it's " an internal problem " with the tailshaft and I also need my diffs replaced. They've quoted me $6000 to get it fixed. My mate has said not to bother getting them to do it and we'll just get the parts and do it ourselves. Just looking to see if anyone has any suggestions about whether to go aftermarket and suggestions of who to go with. Think I'm going to go with Superpro for the diffs ? But unsure about the tailshaft. Any suggestions would be awesome Cheers Baz
  4. Sweet ! Thanks for that mate ! I thought it may be the centre bearing as I've heard of that going before. I'm hoping that it is, guess I'll find out soon enough :-/ Yeah I'll look them up now bud, thanks again man :-)
  5. Hey guys, Was looking for advice. Whenever I take off in first gear there is a noise that comes from the tail shaft. I've taken it to the garage as I've recently moved from WA to Victoria and have to put it over the pits to get it rego"d. The mechanic had said to me that the noise is coming from the tail shaft and that it is a bit loose. I phoned up ford over here just to get a price in case I have to get it replaced and they have quoted me $1805. I'll find out later today if it has to be replaced but was just wondering. . . . Is there any way I can get this fixed cheaper if it does have to be replaced ? Is there any chance that it could just be the centre bearing ? Is the Typhoon set up differently in regard to the tail shaft or centre bearing than other fords ? apologies for my lack of knowledge, I really need to get this back on the road asap so any advice would be awesome. Cheers Baz
