  1. Ok now I am feeling the difference. After 2 days, maybe it had to dry up or something. It's spooling up way quicker, and comes on boost immediately now. Car feels like it's brand new.
  2. I did it last night, Just pulled the hose off the solenoid and sprayed it. To be honest I notice just a mild difference than before, not too much. The car does spool up louder, but generally it was worth the effort. Took me ages to do though, then I realised I should of taken the battery out first lol.

Quick question chaps, I checked mine out last night (2011 FGXR6T) the hose going from the turbo Housing to the soilenoid has a bit of oil residue coming off the Turbo housing end. if I was to unscrew the hose from the turbo housing and clean it up then spray from that side all the way to the soilenoid, will that be ok to do? What about if I was to take the hose off completely and clean the whole inside up? Will both of these methods be ok?
  4. Ill have to wait for Jim then. Dont want to mess around with it, it's just really annoying I want it to be 100% but it's not.. Thanks for that mate, I will definately check it out. Would be nice to see how much boost is actually being forced in...

  6. I want to get in there and try the wd40 trick but just dont want to F anything up. My wife needs the car all week. I havent taken off the pipes im not really that confident with doing this, I know ill stuff something up. Once I get the car fixed the Tune and all will be next at Tunehouse.
  7. Hi Gents, New here and just wanted to see what you guys make of this. I will be booking the car into Tunehouse to get them to have a look at it but want an idea of what might be wrong before I go. Stock 2011 XR6T. -Car feels very underpowered, almost like it has no Turbo. I can hear it boosting up hard but it goes no where!!! it just has no kick to it. The weird part is sometimes it wakes up and flies and sometimes it doesnt. -Fuel useage has gone up a lot average is on 17.8/100 (use to be around (13L-14L/100) - I notice it is using more, I use to get close to 2 weeks out of a $60 tank, now I am getting 1 week at best. -After a throttle body clean and tightining up all the pipework things got worse.It's like the boost goes no where. I have checked the pipework for cracks, leaks and found nothing and I am planning on changing all the intercooler and throttlebody piping with aluminium in 2 weeks time. What could it be? Cheers...
