    This is what Brad at atomic says so I believe it, He reckons there is absolutely no benefit in keeping it in performance application. Except every performance shop here in NZ swears by keeping it with performance gains to be had

    Thanks mate its been a long time coming, not long now just need to send JET a order list of atomic bits then it's all go. The only other big HP one is a 606rwkw Typhoon with a full atomic 998 engine. Would be mint to take NZ's most powerful BARRA but there are a few other big builds in the works.

    This is what im worried about if they fark it up, I know a local company did a big CNC head job on a 4AGE and they took to much material out and he lost intake velocity. Regarding power im aiming for 600rwkw.

    I believe my engine builder quoted around 1700-1800 plus GST for porting, I wonder what the CNC quote would be. Just did a quick google and there are a few places that do CNC head porting here in NZ, so might shoot them a email.

    Yea mate upload some pics on here, Regarding CNC I don't think they have those facilities available but im sure it could be arranged if I wanted to go down that route. I know he has had very good results with 2JZ and RB heads hence why he was wanting to do mine.

    Yea running crow springs & retainers (Can see them in pic) My engine builder Wants to port my head as well not 100% if it would be worth it.

    Yea I saw you have some, bit of a underated cam? better priced then the competition too which is a bonus, was going to go bigger (282's I believe) but opted for these.

    More goodies have arrived, after much thought I decided to opt for a set of Stage 4 Crows, 275’s. I was pleasantly surprised looking at there grinds they offer a good alternative to Atomic / TBRE etc etc, these are in between Atomic stage 4 and 4.5’s, Plus are billet too which is a bonus. These are the biggest cams they offer before you have to delete vct and run vernier gears.
