hey sorry, I havnt been replying, I havnt been online in a while. sleeper6t, my car is tuned to 350rwkw. which is the absolute limit of my motor. others have pushed them further without problems and some fail under less. I'm not 100% sure on what people are getting from these coolers. As for the extreme clutch, its finally on its way out. my stock clutch failed at 250kw also. Ive had it on my car with stock flywheel for approx 3 years at 311rwkw and above. I'm opting for a mal wood option 6 next for future engine mods. exgmh304, im not too sure on what plazmaman has to offer, but there are kits that retain the same plenum and remove the cross over. that might be your best option, or you may be able to get another brand kit too suit. That was probably me on the dyno, Pulled 325rwkw down 25rwkw, probably due to heat and the I drove it from maitland and threw her straight on. Also a couple of the gen3 boys I was talking too said their figures were down, have to investigate. Should of come over for a chat, I wasnt there that long I came off dogshift and was going back that night. Too many holdens as usual!! lol Wasn't too bad a day

that's great news, finally ford have woken up. They would be stupid to delete the best engine in their line up in the entire world, that engine is up there with the BMW I6. Hopefully they don't decrease displacement. Most importantly is that the Australian worker keeps their job. Bring on direct injection!

its a turbosmart megasonic bov its pretty loud. The other mods include atomic valve springs, deka 60 pounders, 044 surge pump and tank and a walbro in tank. Modified flapper on turbo and a 9 psi acuator, 4 inch dump and cat with X-force system with quad tips, its a 6spd manual, its got an "extreme" heavy duty cluch.

feels good. throttle response alot better, more power. Happy with the kit

Thought I post alot of pics up cause when I go looking for stuff on an install, etc. there are always 10 or so good pics but there is always one you need so I just posted a heap up.

Just added some pics of the install it may help others installing the same or similar kit. Cheers. Thanks to plazmaman for doing a great deal on the kit. Only some minor modifications required, which were; Drilling holes for the air box and battery clamp. Drilling out half the lower inlet manifold bolt holes for the studs off the plenum Cut two triangle shapes (bout 2cm deep) out of the front metal support to fit the intercooler in. Drilling 2 holes for the top intercooler brackets. Extend the wiring of the tps, boost sensor and throttlebody motor wiring. Little bit of mucking around with hoses, like installing a longer brakebooster hose and BOV hose, etc. Took about 2 and half days by myself in a normal garage on jacks. 1 day to remove the lot, the other to drill and mount most of the stuff and the third to finish putting bits on, test without bumper and tidy up. Made 350rwkw at Blacktack Thornton NSW at 15-16psi Will post graph soon, scanner isnt working. Josh

saw a siver xr6 turbo and a black fg g6e turbo driving past thornton and berro headed over the bridge toward tommago. (silver one had a blacktrack sticker) anyone from here

if liberals had there way there would be no unions, no rights at work, you would lose entitlements. they are hell bend on proping up business and kicking the worker. The liberals were the ones who banned snap strikes, the liberals are the ones who introduced work choices which cost may people jobs, income and intitlements. All they do is line the pocket of big business. Labour is sposed to be the workers party. As for Unions, Unions are the ones that stick up for you at work, you wouldnt be earning the wages you earn now with out them. You wait till times get alot worse and then people wish they were in a union. Work choices was designed to kill unionism in the workforce and give the bargining power to the business

also if its still running crap, try cleaning the O2 sensor with some electraclean or similar. mine was playing up and cleaning it fixed it

Strengthen Up Diff & Cv's (sedan) What To Use?

Just wondering on what is out there for the XR6T's to strenghten up the rear end. CV Upgrade? Diff Upgrade? Anyone upgraded these items? Where From and How much? Any help would be appreciated
