Hi, I am thinking of selling my 2006 XR6T now and buying the new ute when it comes on stream. What do you think?

your gas struts must nearly lift the lid themselves. Lock it. Mine it takes a lot of pushing to raise it and I don't normally lock it, it stays closed at highway speeds.

I have been using TomTom for a couple of years and I would not leave home without it. But it has been droped from their range. I don't drive in the cities much but if I did I would look for a model that is cheap to update the maps.

I drive to Canberra and back once a week 240 return at 100klm an hour this keeps the average down to 12.5. Just using it in traffic it is high.

I have had this problem since day #1, the dealer said that he fixed it but no. I took it back again and then his advice was to rev it a bit before moving. WALOC. So after 12 months it is still the same and I expect it will not change.

Hi, With all the water restrictions, I have to use the car wash and the pressure is removing the paint off some of the plastic pieces. Also it is standard height and the spoiler is scraped from bad driveways, [how do you lowered mob cope?]. So for its 1st birthday took it to the local panel shop and they removed the bumper fixed it up and the side skirts where the paint was peeling and touched up stone chips. They did a perfect job. The T had no dents, so now it looks brand new again. I am thinking of next a new windscreen as that looks shabby now. How much $570, the XR6 badges were $70 Ford never misses out. I was going to post pics but no need its perfect. BTW he said not to use the pressure gun on plastic, so now I spray from a distance. haapis.

I lived in a house where the front door was a only a meter from the footpath. The door opened onto a lounge room and a door on the left of the room opened to our bedroom. The dream starts with a woman walking down the street [high heels sound] and stopping at the front door. She comes through the doors without opening them and stops by me. I am terrified and try calling my wife but no a sound comes I think if I put my hand on her I will wake her up but I am paralized. I try to wake up no go, move my hand after a while I can slide it across the bed to Edith mbh. as soon as I touch her the woman goes and I can move again. You would call that strange but this dream went on for years. We moved to a larger house and I never had the dream again. Strange but true.

I have fitted front parking sensors but not a ford product. It needs to be switched on manually. The town that I live in has all parking nose in, without sensors the spoiler is spoilt.

Hi, On my BFT ute the dash lights have the dimmer switch that has 4 settings but none of them dim the icc display. I would like to turn all the lights of a night. Any way of doing that? thanks

Hi, the ford dealer here has a guy from Canberra that touches up the stone chips etc. my T is 12 months old and has chips and the underneath of the front spoiler is paint free. what do you ppl do to keep the car up to scratch [pun intended]

OK they say that I hit the driveway with the skirt when exiting my house. If the plastic clips can't take the warp of the skirt then they have a bad design fault, get rid of the clips and use bolts.
