  4. Cheers. So if the valve spring springs were better in the ba 2 than in the ba 1s, what sort of rwkw are the ba2s producing on their standard valve springs compared to the ba1s after edited? Thanx
  5. hey guys, just out of curiosity I was pretty sure I heard somewhere that the ba2 valve springs were stronger than the ba1? the rumour I heard was that the ba2 actually had ba1 typhoon springs? is they any truth to this? cheers
  6. Thanx heaps, much appreciated. It awesome having such help an information available here at my fingertips. Cheers

  8. G'day all. I am looking at purchasing a CAPA flash tuner as from what I have read here they seem to be the best bang for the $ My question is, at what power figure {RWKW} would it be advisable to upgrade the valve springs and what exactly are the benefits of doing so? I have read so many different views in regards to this that for a novice like me it can get quite confusing. Also generally, what cost factor would I be looking at for springs and installation? Much appreciated, Michael PS: Autobrakes Winton Track Fun Day 16-7-06 $25
  9. Cheers. you guys have made it a lot clearer for me. Thanx heaps

What are the differences between capa and unichip and how exactly do they work? Which has greater play for performance options?
  11. I guess my main concern is that after I put the APS phase 1 kit on {unichip+injectors+cobra valve springs} Do I need to take it back to APS every and each time I add another mod? ie, exhaust, cai, bov, intercooler?
  12. Im confused???? My inexperience is showing. Would I be better to do my mods in this order? Exhaust, CAI, BOV and APS phase1{including valve springs} And then add the intercooler last? After adding the intercooler as my last mod would I need to go back to APS for a retune? Thanx heaps for your help, I really appreciate it. Michael
  13. Hey all, I have been looking around at a few cars as I am in the process of purchasing my first T. My car budget, from what I have seen, is going to allow me to get a ba 1 with between 60,000 and 80,000 kms on the clock. Im looking at putting a typhoon CAI, 3.5" metal cat, replace centre muffler with two 2.5" straight through twin pipes, turbosmart kompact supersonic BOV and an autotechnica intercooler for my first stage of mods. Not to long after I would like to follow these mods up with the APS phase1 package{injectors+unichip} and a set of cobra valve springs. My question is as the cars im looking at tend to be relativley higher in k's will I have engine durability issues with this amount of modifications? Also what other companies have you guys used for just your edit and injectors? What results have you obtained and what are your opinions of the service you recieved? Thanx all. Michael
  14. Thanx for the help. So, in order to gain cost effective power and increased flow using the standard zorst all I'd have to do is replace the cat with a 3.5inch, and replace the centre muffler with straight through twin pipes? When you mention straight through twin pipes does this mean there is no rear mufflers?
