hi mal I want to ask about shift kits for the t56 can I change the shift pattern from h to up and down like sequential style

I agree jack custom tune is the way to go I will put on the cooler then generic 8 psi then possibly get injectors with the tune to finish it off. its a bf so I have been told the springs are ok and already has a t56 so mabee a cluch will go in also. should make a sweet ride

hey guys. I have a question for you educated peoples out there. I have got my hands on a nice polished f6 cooler. has anyone out there put one on there t without a tune.,I mean stock not a retune. will it be ok to mount ot and drive it easy for a few weeks till I tune the beast. and will the generic 8 psi tune work ok with this. I know the best thing is a custom tune but im doing this over time so as to spread the cost.

my mate at work has a s4 rx7 with a 10 second doweled turbo 13b running 8psi he ran a 14.8 after he tunes it he says he will do better. the motor will take 20 psi. the gearbox will not

Anyway, the engine is in for a full re-build with argo forged H-beam rods / rod bolts, forged pistons, hardened crank, etc, plus a full blueprint and extensive machine job. Nizpro are doing the work and the engine will be able to support 500 rwkW without problems. The aim is to take power to above 400 rwkW of nice streetable power. Cheers Robin. thanks guys I will look into the interface box. the shift light is a gismo and has a launch control box that takes signal from the shift light once I get the box and mount the clutch switch I will have programable launch control with anti lag and flat shift. im not sure how this will be hooked up to the ignition it has 6 in and 6 out from the launch controll box for multi coil control but u can use 1 also. it runs on throttle cable systems by misfiring the coils but im not ure how this will work with the fly by wire system. im going to talk to a tuner and try and get it all hooked up with a custom tune.

I have a stand alone shift light that needs power earth and tacho signal. the power is a no brainer but how can I get a tach signal to send to the shift light. any opinions would be appreciated.

mcguires seem to be the best and they have a pretty impresive range. I picked up the clay kit today 30 bucks it has a slab of clay and a spray on lube used together they get pretty good results a friend put me on to it he uses it on his suv what do u guys think
