I remember seeing inside yours buff, it was melted and that wasnt on the car too long either. mabee the stallie. iv seen some posts around of people tossing there nizza springs for atomic but even so they should be better than stock.

there are some areas still using the old radios. in sydney if you tune in 468.050 or 468.300 you can hear wagga wagga base. check out between 476.200 and 477.400 140.000 and 150.000. 450.000 to 490.000. with a short wave reciver theres a world of signals to pick up. even old cordless phones on 29 and 30mhz.

13.8 is rich that's ok 14.7 is where you want it to be anything above that is lean. 14.7 = how many parts air to 1 = unit of fuel those quoted afr figures are normaly asperated settings.

I heard on the radio today that one of fords suppliers of bearings has closed down meaning they cant build any falcons untill they get a new deal going from china or similar.

got tuned at 3000km 3 years ago max power 350rwkw normaly run around with 300kw now has 78000 on the clock and nothing broken. nice to see you back again and contemplating a nother xr.

Q What Is 300+kw Capable Off, what to expect. A lots of smoke.

I can set my own limit and I leave it at 6250 so I dont hit it, power drops off at 5500 anyway so theres no point reving it so hard, a shorter shift keeps the toeque levels in the peak range longer.

if you look at this thread http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=35553 there are a few nz members posting in thes thread. have a chat with some other kiwis and see where they are getting tunes at. I would be looking at a boost guage to see if your boost is surging if not it may be fuel supply, intercooler and pipework mods are no problem. there are people who can tune these cars in 1 hour its not rocket science.

hitting your rev limiter is the best way to break your oil pump gears. the sudden shock of 6k then hard cut with the clutch out can be disasterous. and its oftern not just a case of replacing the gears when broken, iv heard of a car getting oil pump bits under the timing chain and pushing valves into pistons.
