I would be pushing really hard on this one. you would have to abuse the car really hard to get clutch slip within 6500 km`s. its my oppinion that this new ap clutch isnt up to the job of holding the torque. its not a matter of the clutch being abused because with a full meat new plate it will still slip given x amount of torque. not enough clamping force from the preassure plate.

how about, capa box with tune valve springs c&v surge tank with twin 044`s siemens injectors plazmaman 800 kit with airfilter exchange rear housing with larger flapper and actuator high flow cat and centre muffler removed, stock rear section possibly adding an upgraded oil pump with modded oil bypass. next step full rebuild atomic 900kw gear.

I just found this pic of my mal wood opt3 clutch. looks like an exedy plate to me, im not nocking it mine works a treat and I would reccomend the opt 3 full kit to anyone with less than 400rwkw.

in my car the stock injectors started running lean at about 9.8 to 10 psi. I would say around 9.5 psi, the only thing stopping you from using more is the injectors.

seems with fords history of adding heaps of extras with the mk2 and peoples experinces with new model mk1 falcons a lot of people will be waiting for the mk2. we all dont want to get the old ford excuse(yes mate that's in spec). I will be waiting for the mk2 phoon.

im interested in seeing the intake manifold on the turbo model.

im using a boost controller. as long as you dont go past the boost level set by your tuner you wont have any problems. I can make the boost come on really slow and I can also make it hit hard. its good in the rain and when trying to save fuel running 4.5 psi then when you want to have some fun you can add boost at the touch of a button.

(lol.... I know) for real tab I was standing beside the road with a red face and a jack in hand. is it ok to drive on a stock spare with 18 inch tyres on the others.

so anyway. I was driving down cowpasture road this afternoon and hit a pothole. as I hit it I heard a sssssss coming from the rear tyre and you guessed it I had a flat in about 20 seconds. the result was a split tyre at the bead making a brand new $260 18 inch tyre rooted. im not happy and am considering sending the bill to the fairfield council with pics of the pothole over 3 or 4 days showing that they didnt fix it. its been there for 3 weeks now and im sure its getting bigger. I wont hit the farker tommorow that's for sure. :fear (5):
