  2. picture a big HSV. then below it in smaller letters. HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS.
  3. it was hard work trying for so long now I kind of miss it. thanks guys.
  4. just thought I would toss up some news. my wife who as I posted before was pregnant after nearly 3 years of trying and after several miscarrages and a cancer removal, is now 7 months pregnant and its going to be a boy. I hadnt mentioned any news to date as it was a bit early but after this weeks ultrasound everythings normal. looking forward to getting it over with as she is wingeing like an old lady.

the polished cooler really looks good with the blue paint. nice work.
  6. just get polished. everyone likes a bit of bling bling.
  7. i can vouch for the quality of this product. iv done about 20,000 km on this cat and on inspection there was no burning/melting around the edge as iv seen on other cats.
  8. yeah the good old days senna 80 bucks here too. 130 sounds like a good deal, my injectors with 2 guys working on it took 20 mins to install. they were so confident that the second guy strapped the car to the dyno while the first worked on getting the x over pipes off.
  9. an easier way could be to hold your foot flat on the throttle, all the way to the floor and crank the motor over. it will not start with your foot flat on the gas.
  10. sounds much better than that on an xr6t. iv seen one on the dyno with etm`s external gate/screamer pipe and I must say it is like a jet, inside the dyno cell it was ear splitting shhhhhhhhhh.
  11. phantom, a screamer pipe vented to open air does provide an increase in power if you have a restrictive exhaust system. its been proven.
  12. iv been at my old man to build a 32 roadster with an xr6t engine. that bucket looks cool as. retro.
  13. I cant complain about mine however mines a tube and fin, from what I heard about the testing done on this cooler its a good mix of flow and cooling ability just enough internal fins to cool without blocking up the cooler.
  14. you can butcher up a stock system, I have a stock dump pipe into a 5 inch cat and some 4 inch pipe off that running into a splitter to make it fit the stock twin pipes, then into a berklea twin muffler stuck in place of the front muffler then stock pipes back to twin 3 inch hot dogs at the rear. makes 330 rwkw. no muffler no hotdogs just stock pipes off the 4 inch pipe with pipes welded in place of the mufflers (rapid systems) makes 350rwkw. its clear that my system is at max and I need a new good system but I dont mind playing around with exhausts getting different sounds,
  15. because you only have 1 tune in your box and running larger injectors leeds me to belive that it may be a custom tune. most generics have all 3 slots filled with valet 8 and 10 psi.
  16. it may have a punched cat causing overboost. does it have an exhaust system added.
  17. nothing like a box of dry ones to give the old bowel a good scrape out.
  18. BUMP you can tell us we wont tell anyone.
  19. compressed air is the answer. mabee. I saw on foxtel the other day that compressor technoligy is getting better making it nearly possible to make enough compressed air to power a small car from the output shaft of the compressed air motor.
  20. whats that supposed to be a Expensive Daewoo father and a ford mother combined to form a spawn of ugly ass propourtions.
  21. a cheap fix would be to get a 50 dollar bleed valve from supercheap and put it where the solonoid was. you should be able to get nice smoothe boost control and use your boost guage to set the boost level to where it was before.
  22. the theory is that having the cut out of the electrode facing the exhaust valve the spark is shielded from being blown out by boost enerting from the inlet valve. this could work as we all have to set out plug gaps to 0.79 to stop spark blow out. in pervious motors I ihave built mostly single cam turbo single coil spark setups I found using a high energy coil discharge kit like jacobs or a crane cams hi6 al does the job also. I have seen a jacobs coil and jacobs discharge box combo`s throw a spark 1 foot long from the lead to the block. has anyone seen a discharge box for multi coil cars like ours, I have been looking around but have had no luck.
