  1. Mine popped out and flew into the back seat. Covered under warrenty. I hate the button. Its a pain in the arse.
  2. Thanks guys, They are not rebuilding my diff... its still in the car. So I am getting the impression they are stalling me. The panel shop have had 3 bars.. with a week turn around for each. Apparently all 3 have been defective and beyond just a little prep work. Yeah Brett, not modded yet. I can only imagine the dick around I would be getting if I had modded already. Moving to the Gold Coast at the end of the year mate.. should have some work done to her down there. Gonna love the drive up to Canungra every winter morning for work!!!
  3. A quick update a month and a half on... Diff is still apparently on order. I've been told its being built by whoever builds them for Ford. And still no update on the brake fluid spill ruining the caliper paint. Seems like I'm being fed bullsh*t. On a side issue... I had a dickhead side swipe me in a round about... apparently every rear bar for a BF phoon has manufacturing defects.. and the body shop can't tell me when they can get a new one. Senna, or anyone else that works in a dealership.. any advice with how to deal with these peoblems? Thanks
  4. Took it in today. New diff on order. Like I said previously. I have had nothing but joy from them so far. Just the last few weeks of what seems to be poor service. I took the mech for the spin and he agreed that the whine was crazy loud, and not just me being picky. I'll still reserve judgement until after the brake caliper issue is resolved. I doub't Ford is going to replace it if its a tradesmen error. So I can see it falling back on the service department to make good on it.
  5. No name and shame till I've exhausted actually talking with the service manager. And they have been pretty good up till now. Going to take it back tomorrow, with the bolt, and see how they go.
  6. So I had my BF F6 in for a service the other week at my local ford dealer. They managed to spill brake fluid over my front calipers and the paint is now bubbled. They are sending pics to Ford now that I cracked it at them. Surely this is a dealership problem as it was their mechanics that stuffed up. Then comes the next drama. Diff clunk. They just replaced the IRS bushes and now I have a horrible whine that was not there before. Shudders through the whole car decelerating from 60 and lower. If that wasn't bad enough, I was in a 40k zone today, sudden clunk and rattle from the back end... saw something kick up from behind my car. I stop and go back for a look... Its a bolt from somewhere. Definatly from my car. Am I asking too much from my dealership to repair my car correctly? Without adding to my troubles?
  7. BF2 got the change to wheel offsets. The BF1s have different offsets on the rear.
  8. I'm not Flukey, but there is a Strapp ford at Doncaster. I got my BF phoon from them early last year. 51k drive away with 19's tint and the FPV wheel.
  9. Dave, Can you give us some more info? I'm in Townsville and thinking about doing this to my phoon. Where did you go and how much? Did they do mandrel bend flange to flange or just cut the muff out and pipe it? Thanks man.
  10. Too small in diameter or thickness dude?
  11. Mine is a BF 1, but I think its the same alarm etc. It took me about half an hour for it to work following the book. Just got to get the sequence and timing right. Its fiddly.
  12. Its both a pain in the arse and a blessing. It auto arms only after engine shutdown and doors shut. It will not lock the doors, only the alarm even with the keys out. Its good if you forget to lock when at the servo. And its bad if you have others in the car, because if you don't leave one of the doors open, your mates set the alarm off. I'm thinking about setting mine back to how it came standard.
  13. I just got Vista Ultimate. $250 OEM from MSY. All I had to do was have them look up on their system that I had purchased hardware from them in the last 12 months. Cant complain for the pirce.

Nitro is where the fun is. I've been running a Mugen MTX-4 for a few years, Murnan mod Novarossi plus3 engine. Got a Kyosho STR Truggy for the off road fun. And just finished of building the new Xray T2 007 with a brushless setup for practice between nitro races. Got a fourth place at last years Vic titles for Nitro touring.
  15. Mines a dec 05 F6 in Mercury silver. Under bonnet paint is a darker non metallic grey.
