  3. Cut me deep... Why dont we leave the cruise in the hands of almighty mod.... actually why dont we just rock up to your place?? I do think the Rye cruise is better though so all we need to do now is book a date??? Im suggesting first Sunday in Dec??? Regards TUFXRT6
  4. Ok Guys & Girls, Hunks & Babes. I think it is time to pencil in a day for the annual barbie, I was thinking either the first Saturday or Sunday of December?? I will provide some snags & bread (sauce & onions will cost you ) last year's location was good (except the bloody fly's). this year I was thinking of organising a cruise along the Williamstown / Altona beaches. If anyone has another idea in mind for location that would be great. Finally, I think we may need to organise for some one to bring a barbie along as last year the pay bbq's were sh!t. P.S. It would be good to see at least one Mod come along. Regards TUFXRT6
  5. I totally agree with sh*tmxrider, the last thing we want is the wrong attention on cruises. Regards TUFXTR6
  6. There will be a chrissy cruise, probably the same as last year. Regards TUFXRT6
  7. The big yellow boat might even get a wash if I can ever get away from this PC. Bloody financial markets. Regards TUFXRT6
  8. Hair Dryers are not exactly my thing but.... the car is really well presented & frankly it would be fun to drive. The paint job is quality Regards TUFXRT6
  9. Its amazing that these old timers can still tour Cant wait though. Regards TUFXRT6
  10. You are soooo correct about all Fords having some type of problem. Regards TUFXRT6
  11. Wow, My chariot is lucky to get a half yearly wash!! Regards TUFXRT6
  12. I feel old, I saw Prodigy at Big day out in the mid 90's!!!! Worth seeing. Regards TUFXRT6
  13. Bart I personally think Warren buffet is a smart investor and definetly has the runs on the board to PROVE he is one of the MOST SUCCESSFUL INVESTORS IN THE WORLD. It is interesting that about 24 months lead up prior to the current situations Mr Buffet moved to become cashed up for any "ideal" buying situations. The assets Mr Buffet is buying is deaply discounted & if large investors have the money it will be great buying going forward. As much as I dont like Governments influencing markets I do however thank them at the moment for stoppping short selling otherwise the equity markets would probably be much worse. I am a buy low, sell high kind of person. So selling a house at the moment is not a big issue as long as you think property markets going forward may deteriate lower. Regards TUFXRT6
  14. This has to be one of the funniest posts I have seen. Regards TUFXRT6
  15. Do you want someone who is in charge of the banking system not to have experience in the banking system? The point is that Paulson had to gain experience somewhere, it just happen to be GS. It could have been Lehmans, Bank of America, Bear Sterns ect.. Personally I would have more of a problem if he worked at Bear Sterns or JP Morgan. The $188bn is a big number & I would check that figure. I have never seen that figure before & I would definetly see something like that.
  16. Hypnodoc, I really think you need to get your facts right. The Federal Government did not buy useless RMBS but they WILL (Start in December) buy AAA rated RMBS which is the highest class of RMBS (these RMBS has the least amount of risk). Derivatives are often used to reduce risk by hedging positions (I think you might be looking for leverage not derivatives) Personally I cant see why you would use CASH (most liquid asset) in your classification of risk. Unless you work in the financial industry (credit market in particular) I dont see any point in scaring the masses. I am in noooo way saying the credit markets are in trouble butttttt I could point out a truckload of differences between Australian markets & OS. Regards TUFXRT6
  17. INPURSUIT, I was wondering why I didn't see you on the list. Catch up then. Also for everyone from the North / West side of the city: I'm thinking at the start of the cruise of heading down the Eastern. Soooo, I Could organise a meeting point in Carlton to head down. Just an idea. Regards TUFXRT6
  18. Ahhhh Black Cabs, I can't understand why we dont have them in Australia. Regards TUFXRT6

  20. that is one of the best car Pics I have seen in ages, can you please PM me the location if you dont want to make it public. Regards TUFXRT6
  21. I would say its the exhaust manifold
  22. Im in also. Dillz if you need a hand let me know. Regards TUFXRT6
  23. Some one on this site used to work for Telstra & infact drove a BF black XR6 Turbo & I would suggest it was one of the best cared for cars that went around. The only problems I personally think that go along with these types of cars are: a) high k's b) cold starts (Drivers dont care about letting them warm up, frankly why would you) Regards TUFXRT6
  24. I always liked the classic "this vehichle is insured by Smith & Wessen" Regards TUFXRT6
